Beating BC is of limited value NCAAwise. Looks like the only route for UVM to the tournament is winning HE.

Any word on Colton's wrist. He was definitely in pain when he came off the ice and went straight down the tunnel with the trainer running after him.

Thinking about next year UVM is going to be really thin on D. Hamilton, Abramson, and Muscoby are going to be missed.

Apparently Colton was standing with the scratches and had a brace or a cast on his hand/wrist. He was telling people who asked that he would be out at least two weeks. Hopefully back in time for BC in the second round.

Scratched players said he was benched for some reason and is not hurt, which is a good thing as he has been playing well over the last dozen games. Do not know why he was benched, if that is true.

Ok its official the pairwise is broken.

Current #14 team is St Cloud state at 15-16-1 they are #19 in the new poll
On the other hand Vermont is #19 in pairwise and #14 in the Polls with a 18-11-5 record

A below 500 team on the bubble yikes!!!

The NCHC has done this twice where (SCSU actually both times) their OOC is so strong as a conference their in conference RPI will carry teams regardless of their actual win percentage. This is due to how RPI is calculated (higher weight to opponents win % and opponents opponents win % than actual team win %) leading to very high weights if most/all teams do well in OOC. I blame UNH

I'm going to be out and about in Burlington tomorrow night. Does anyone know if any of the bars stream the game for the public to watch?

I'll be bringing my mother to her first DI hockey game tomorrow night! Hoping for a Catamount win! (Although selfishly also hoping for a game 3, since I'm occupied on Saturday...)

Very nice. I think she will enjoy the fast paced game (unless she likes to see scoring). Just a comment about the sport not the two teams playing.:)

The fact that Maine hasn't won a road game all season makes me a little nervous. As they say, even a blind squirrel finds a nut occasionally. That aside, the Cats should take this one in two ("should" being the operative word).

I think RiRa Irish Pub puts the game on if I'm not mistaken.....

That shutout will be HUGE for Lekkas's confidence I think, he looked great tonight.

Nice to see Coughlin get on the board as well.

The only downside tonight: Trying to lead chants with bronchitis sucks

Grats to women's hockey on a great showing today, 4-3 loss in 2OT against a very very good BC side.

Litchfield playing out of her mind for her last career game. 49 saves.

Really excited for next season already. Lots of key players returning, hell the top three scorers are all here for at least two more years (Picard for three). The women's program is really on the rise.
