Couple of interesting playoff results.

Biggest surprise was the Wisco loss. Most exciting series to follow was Harvard - Yale.

But when it was all said and done, all the favorites moved on.
Next weekend games loom larger, with 3 auto bids at steak.

Yup. Sorry. It was late, and once I got past the Top 8, got hasty/careless. Fixed it in the post.

To me the most interesting thing to watch is will UND get in ?.

Autobid by Quinny or NE/BU could seal their fate. Even if the AUtobids go to teams like Cornell/BC/Harvard/Clarskon, UND may have to win the WCHA tourney to get in.

Although it is unlikely to happen there is a chance for four ECAC teams to get in. It is a possiblity if Quinnipiac gets the Autobid. Has there ever been four teams from one conference in the tournament ?.

3) Wisconsin -- Didn't know they lost until the next morning because I didn't bother to follow their score assuming a win.

I've been informed that Hockey East teams are superior to all others, but because the league only has eight teams, I no longer have any idea as to how to construct a ranking of the top 10.

Wasn't brooky (I think it was brooky) then choosing to resort to high school teams? Not the worst idea.

I thought about that, but I'm not that familiar with HS teams from the East, which evidently are superior. I suppose I could go with NAHA and Assabet, but then I'd have to figure out which is higher.

Sorry -- poor transition on my part from HS to juniors, but when conversing with TTT it is more about the smack and less about facts and rational thinking.
