With the end of the regular season the teams that deserve to be there are the top 8.
Top 6 are pretty much a given, but aside from the Top 3 all teams have major recent Warts.

Having said all that, I see the top 4 seeds as Minny, Wisco, Clarky and BC in that order.

1 - Minnesota (1).....W,W.......Ho Hum.

2 - Wisconsin (2).....W,W......... Ho Hum 2
==============================================
3 - Clarkson (3).......W,W........ Now for sure solid 3rd.

4 - BC (5)..............W,W....... Both Harvard and Cornell squandered ECAC crown
5 - Harvard (6).......T,W......... Tie and Loss with Yale.....They meet again in round 1
6 - Cornell (4).........L,L.......... Lost to Princeton.......They meet again in round 1
7 - Quinnipiac (9)....W,W........ Their Win over Cornell shows they belong in this group.

8 - NU (8)...............W,W....... They may not get there pairwise, but 2nd HE is better than any CHA

9 - UND (7)..............L,L.......... Sinking faster than the Titanic.

2) Clarkson -- ahead of Wisconsin still because I am unconvinced of the Wisconsin offense against good teams, because they haven't played a lot of them.
3) Wisconsin
4) Boston College
5) Cornell -- ahead of Harvard because one bad weekend is one thing, but the slow hiss of the air coming out of Harvard's tyres is another.
6) Harvard
7) Quinnipiac
8) North Dakota -- I know, missing some good players. If they'd been at full strength and got these results they'd be even lower. But if a team knows it's probably going to be a bubble team at Olympic time and will have to cope with missing players they should be planning for it.
9) Mercyhurst -- I haven't been paying enough attention to know if they're top-eight, but they're better than they were halfway through the season.
10) Northeastern -- because I'm a Hockey East homer.

FWIW, third, because of the tiebreak. I think the NU/BU semi will be a match to watch in the Hockey East tournament... two teams with a lot to prove.

No offense to BU and the standings, but based on games since the X-mas break, NE is ahead of BU in my rankings. Consider them team #2 in HE at the moment, and the favorite in that BU/NE match-up if it gets to that point.

LOVE my Lady Lakers but give credit where its due "Nicole Hensley" I have watched her play many teams this year just to see
if she's legit....She IS the real deal and could upset the apple cart for any team

Ha -- Mostly the reason is the Excel version at work is old and I don't like dealing with it. No one here cares (or, more accurately, knows) that I like to play with women's hockey spreadsheets haha
