Looking forward to seeing how much the North Dakota apologists give the Sioux a break because they were missing players despite getting swept by one of the worst teams in the conference.

2) Wisconsin -- I was wrong about them sweeping the Gophers. Oops.

3) Cornell -- Needed OT to beat RPI, but given what RPI has done lately, that's just fine.

4) Clarkson -- Big win over Harvard, easy win over Dartmouth.

5) Boston College -- Not the most impressive sweep for those of us watching, but we'll take it.

6) Harvard -- Decent weekend despite the close loss to Clarkson.

7) Mercyhurst -- Big mover this week with NoDak getting embarrassed at home twice.

Looking forward to seeing how much the North Dakota apologists give the Sioux a break because they were missing players despite getting swept by one of the worst teams in the conference.

Myself I wouldn't fault anyone for attempting to factor that into their rankings. Especially (for me) watching those players in Sochi. All big impact players to my eye. Don't think they're back for the OSU series but still expect a full intact Whioux to be a threat in the WCHA...in Bemidji.

Despite a few surprises, only change from last week is UND and NU flipping.
Watch for NEU, they are the second HE team to watch.
After the UND falter, they are now pretty much destined to travel to Minny.
Not convinced MU belongs in top 10.

1 - Minnesota (1).....W,W........Winning two over No 2. Almost Boring to follow.

3 - Clarkson (3).......W,W........Already had them third last week, deserving now that they beat Harvard.
4 - Cornell (4)..........W,W.......Two more wins. Big game with Quinny coming up.
5 - BC (5)...............W,W........Winning games they are expected to win.

4) Cornell -- right at the moment I don't think they're as good as BC. They've been struggling more in games they should win. But they haven't yet just failed to show up the way BC did against UConn.
5) Boston College

6) North Dakota -- adjusting for the Olympians' (possibly too late) return. All to play for in the WCHA tournament, and North Dakota has shown it can be inspired for big games.
