Here's the link to registration, I'm going to keep it open up until Saturday morning, since I have to go home to get my stuff anyway:
2010 Posters Game Registration
I forgot to e-mail melmac on some of my notes- so hopefully, she'll be able to be there at 11am to help Mrs Alfa process the registrants. I'm going to stick the cost at $23, but if you want to pay $25, I'll take whatever extra money, and donate it all to a charity of the group's choice. I'm pretty sure that we will be able to pay the ice without me digging into my own pocket.
I'll call and confirm with Yost later this week, but the last time I talked to my contact- they are keeping the ice down JUST FOR US! The sheet will be melted on Sunday, April 11.
A reminder to the players and potential players- bring a team jersey and an alternate color, too. The goal is for all of us to represent our team, proudly, at Yost. The alternate goal is to have balanced teams. If it appears that the talent is all on one side, then we will shuffle things up.
But, that being said, the registrants seem to be heavily (state of) Michigan and everyone else. So the tentative plan is Tech, Ferris, MSU, and UM on one team, everyone else on the other. If my count is right, we have 12 players from schools within Michigan, which is darned close to half of 24, right?
This is a social event, not one where your school needs you to win a desparate game of hockey. Fun and meeting other posters is the main focus of this event.
