USCHO Poster's Game, 2010- in the house that Yost Built.

Re: USCHO Poster's Game, 2010- in the house that Yost Built.

Went through my equipment last night and my spartan practice jersey is missing. I'm gonna end up wearing blue...at yost...FML!

Re: USCHO Poster's Game, 2010- in the house that Yost Built.

Worst arena I played in was the Allentown (Pa) Ice Palace. Built originally to hide the Liberty Bell, it is an all wood structure featuring wood arches, crappy ice, and cramped lockerrooms. In order to get to the back lockerrooms, you had to go through the front lockerrooms.

Best community arena I've been to is the West Shore Arena near Ludington. Before it was built we played outside at the fairgrounds. My first time there I asked how much it cost to play pick up hockey and they said just $5. The next night I played there I asked "who was collecting the money tonight?" They said, "didn't you pay last night?" Is was $5 for the whole year!!

Gotta have something to make this trip worthwhile, so I know miamisteve, TheLastRedskin, and I will be there. Be gentle with us...our psyches are in bad shape after that steamrolling.

Re: USCHO Poster's Game, 2010- in the house that Yost Built.

RIT will still be there, and with spectators (that's allowed right?)

I wouldn't pass up playing at Yost just because Wisco went rape mode on us. :o

I probably wont be able to help myself with a comment or two, but if you guys were going to play like that, you should have just let us win that regional game...

At least your band sounded better than BC. That was expected though since they always sound like ****.

Re: USCHO Poster's Game, 2010- in the house that Yost Built.

Ok guys I have a problem...I was making a routine trip from Detroit to Landing this afternoon when my car took a dump on the side of the road. It will not be fixed until Monday. I have obligations in Detroit on Saturday (don't we all?).

If any posters are coming from the Lansing area, I will buy your gas to get me to Yost. Also, anyone going to Metro Detroit after the scrimmage, I will buy your gas for a ride there...

What horrible timing!

Any takers?

Spetators are welcome and encouraged to hekle!

Hope you can find a way to aa statedude- getting you to detroit should be easy.

Re: USCHO Poster's Game, 2010- in the house that Yost Built.

I can give you a ride back.

I was going to post an offer for a ride there and back from Detroit anyway. I might still be able to accommodate one from Detroit too. It would depend on how the gear stows.

If anybody needs the ride from Detroit, let me know. I have a standing Saturday morning breakfast thing at 9:30, and I'd have to know how early to leave that.

Re: USCHO Poster's Game, 2010- in the house that Yost Built.

Wow, almost forgot about this :o . Need to get up early so I can go to the Cube and buy a stick, since I left mine in Minneapolis...

Re: USCHO Poster's Game, 2010- in the house that Yost Built.

Got my travel arrangements worked out. I'll see you guys in a couple hours.:)

Re: USCHO Poster's Game, 2010- in the house that Yost Built.

Had fun skating with all of you...even if I did break my moral code by wearing the ugly winged helmet (which by the way was stolen from MSU).

Great meeting all of you.

Re: USCHO Poster's Game, 2010- in the house that Yost Built.

Is there an official scoresheet? I know how many goals I had, but knowing how many assists and what my +/- was would really help me pick up chicks at the bar tonight.

I need my average shift time, as well. And when do we get a copy of the game to study for next year?

Re: USCHO Poster's Game, 2010- in the house that Yost Built.

I know I could use a couple film sessions and some off ice conditioning before next year's game.

Re: USCHO Poster's Game, 2010- in the house that Yost Built.

Guys...that was AWESOME.

I guess I'm going to have to hang around other parts of this forum more often, you were all a pleasure to skate with.

Thanks for giving my *** a sound beating. ;)

Re: USCHO Poster's Game, 2010- in the house that Yost Built.

Thanks everyone.

Oh man!! I was having way too much fun with the RIT guys to think about a score sheet. sorry

PS: Speaking of RIT, those guys were GREAT at Ford Field tonight. Really showed the rest of the crowd what COLLEGE hockey is all about!
