Another music theory geek I like to follow a bit is Charles Cornell. This video picking apart the Rogue One score is one of the nerdiest things imaginable, and I love it. Especially starting around minute seven where he starts talking about the lightsaber. :^)

This is another cool video from David Bennett. He recreated I Am The Walrus from scratch in order that he then be able to talk about the song without running afoul of copyright rules. Amazing what one person can do technologically in 2023, but how amazing was it for the band to create the original song in 1967 using nothing but 4-track analog equipment? Blows me away.

Back in college I used an early version of that BBC orchestra plug in to fill out arrangements. So much fun. I’m really disappointed in myself for not keeping the music making and playing up.

The Waterboys At First Avenue. I wasn't at this show but did see them about a dozen years earlier. Thankfully I didn't write them off when I heard them for the first time (The Whole of the Moon) because I've never been a big fan of that song, but their deeper catalog is great.

Wait, so are these like professional reactors?

I imagine they're all YT "creators" that likely comment on a variety of music, movies, video game streams, sports, Tik Tok, etc., etc. I don't follow any of them that are in the compilation I only stumbled upon the shared video.

Wait, so are these like professional reactors?

It’s a big thing on YouTube these days. I came across a guy who was reacting to Weird Al videos that he’s “seeing for the first time.” I was on a Weird Al kick, and it looks like he’s there to have big reactions. He was positive in his reactions, but they were completely over the top.

I can't imagine dedicating your craft to being a professional reacter

I generally don't look down on anyone's careeet choices, but I'll add them a hair above influencer. Blech.
