The crumbling remains of Depeche Mode was on Colbert and good god that was bad.

Dr. Mrs., who loved them, was pleading with the screen, "it's okay to stay home, count your royalties and play with your grandchildren!"

Been running through a mix today of Black Flag, Minutemen, The Stooges, Bad Brains, Germs and H?sker D?. I like/love them all but The Stooges imho are criminally underrated.

Agreed, and that is a great mix. I'd add Circle Jerks and Minor Threat, who get my vote for criminally underrated.

This is great too.

I saw that on the DVR and thought, "yikes, no way this is going all be good. Delete."

Went and saw Margo Price in Detroit last night. Even though my favorite song of hers did not make the set list, it was still a pretty great show and only 35 bucks for standing room. No one who attended could've honestly said they didn't get their money's worth and then some.

This is another cool video from David Bennett. He recreated I Am The Walrus from scratch in order that he then be able to talk about the song without running afoul of copyright rules. Amazing what one person can do technologically in 2023, but how amazing was it for the band to create the original song in 1967 using nothing but 4-track analog equipment? Blows me away.

Anybody follow Rick Beato? He has a ton of music / music theory videos similar to this. The Beato Book is a great resource for utilizing it as well.
