USCHO Music: From Queen to The Beatles to Lady Gaga

MADJB - Middle-Aged Dad Jam Band.

A group of guys, led by a couple actors you’d recognize even if you couldn’t name them, they started a “garage” band to play cover music from the 60s-80s. It looks like they’ve performed in front of a few larger venues - not stadiums or arenas.

A cover of a Billy Joel song that just isn’t a common song to hear these days:

David Wain and Ken Marino have been doing stuff like this since Wet Hot American Summer I think, but this is definitely the most effort they’ve put in. Weird Al as the guest on this one sold me right away. :)

They're good. Al was the keeper for me. They play some good songs and some dreck, but honestly they are so smooth even the dreck is okay.

My local chain grocery store was playing the Replacements this morning. That's like hearing the DKs at DQ.

Biden has signed into law protection for tay tay and Elon. Private jet owners can anonymize themselves to prevent tracking of their private jet usage.

Fuck you, rat face

bbc nature guy has now called her out and urged her to curb her “absurd” usage. im sure the swifties are about to burn down his home

TIL Macarena, like Lazy Mary, is a song about a young girl who really likes to f-ck.

Haha, didn't know that. To be completely honest, I don't have much time to follow celebrity news and rumors, but concentrate on my studies instead. I am happy to have found these guys at https://academized.com/research-paper-writing-service, which give me hope that I can finish everything on time. With their help, I can focus more on my coursework without stressing too much about deadlines. Maybe one day, when things settle down, I’ll catch up on all the celebrity gossip I’ve missed!.

Swifties coming for Dave grohl after he insinuates she isn’t singing live at her shows

at least this time the unhinged lunatics are coming for Dave vs his underage daughter, like last time, when some swifties threatened her with rape

member of two of the most influential bands of all time > cookie cutter crap bland music

I like Grohl too, but none of Swift, Nirvana, or Foo Fighters will be remembered in 50 years. They are classic demographically-targeted popular music and highly perishable. Swift targets what bubblegum did in the 60s. Grohl targets what my beloved post-punk did in the 80s. It's commerce, it's not groundbreaking.

I can't believe I'm saying this but even the Beatles have a little more musicological importance than that. No one will remember them either, but in 100 years, which is fantastic for a pop group.

All of this is factory music.
