I'm pretty sure not all of the birth years on Hockey Canada's web site are correct. All of the goalies and the first 4 defensemen listed have the exact same birthday.

I told you it was interesting :cool: Good catch. I adjusted the birth years of the 4 goalies and top 4 defensemen based on strength and conditioning camp roster.

Does anyone have any idea when the U-18 Festival team will be announced by USA Hockey? Interested to see who was chosen to go to Lake Placid.

Any time now. Typically it is around 11ish on the first Tuesday after the completion of the NDCs. (which would be today)

Can't remember the thread where it came up last year and someone suggested that Bugalski would be a candidate for the U18 team this summer, but whoever it was was on target!

At 9 MN has a very large number of representatives. It is also interesting to see the concentration of a few programs versus years past.

USA U-18 Selection Camp/Festival kicks off this week. Any ideas of who or what players have best chance to make the festival team? All 30 of these girls are deserving of being there and competition should be fierce for the spots!!

At the St Cloud camp, I thought Grace Zarzecki was the best player on the ice. Tori Sullivan was very crafty as well.

Interesting. I was at St. Cloud as well. Not a whole lot of scoring went on in any or at least most of the games. I think the biggest score was a 6-0 win by one of the teams. I agree that Zarzecki stood out in the one game I saw her play in. I also thought that Maliya Rodgers, Baylee Wellhausen, and Taylar Cianfirano had really good showings as well at the forward position. Megan Keller, Maddie Rolfes, and Toni Miano stood out at defense IMO. We'll see what happens in Lake Placid, but I think team USA will be a strong one..

In the All Star Game I thought that Williamson and Cianfarano looked like the strongest combination I saw. Would be good to see them back together at some point over the next couple weeks. They were really buzzing and fun to watch together.

Sounds like a rocky bit on the travel side with a flight canceled and some players stranded in Newark for the day.

Sounds like all of the girls who flew out of Boston are stuck in Newark. Flight to Albany keeps getting pushed back...at present they would leave Newark at 11PM.
