Gotta love the candor . . . and Plan B.
“Going into overtime, I said here are a number of set plays,” USA coach Joel Johnson said. “And when they don’t work, which they usually don’t, I said then just get the puck and score.”
I'm glad to see USA Hockey select Stephanie Anderson again. Goes to MN then transfers after a year to Bemidji and now on the National Team.
Not a fan of seeing #7 on the defensemen listing.
#7, not seven defensemen.Who then should be off the list FiveHoleFrenzy?

While fully acknowledging I'm an extremely partisan University of Minnesota fan, I believe it's appropriate to question the apparent SNUB of U of M players - both current and former - that have been selected to this latest iteration of the USA National Hockey team. By my count, over the past five years including this one, the University of Minnesota has compiled a record of 176-11-8. But yet just two - one current (Lee Stecklein) and one recent grad (Megan Bozek) - out of twenty three players that were selected - made the team.
One is only left to surmise, what Coach Brad Frost and his very capable staff could have achieved, if only they would have been "blessed" with more real talent over the past five years.
