At the risk of trying to speak for D2D I'd say the Lams are UND players, and Ms Anderson is a Beaver!

I wonder if her mother stands at the back and whines endlessly about how her daughter is not getting enough ice time & how much better she is that those losers that are geting her ice time? That's not Stephanie's fault but she has the worst hockey parent I ever had to listen to in 30+ years of attending amatuer games. She stood behind us for that year & we finally had to move to get away from it.

Thanks, KTDC. If those three had stuck around, instead of transferring, then yes of course they would be considered Gophers.

No disrespect intended, but seriously Darkangelo and Trivigno over Brandt and Cameranesi? 236 total career points vs. 437? (not counting Cameranesi's points next season).

It's surprising because that Brandt/Skarupa/Cameranesi line seemed very effective at 4 Nations / Worlds last year.

I have to assume that Brandt's injury at the start of the year didn't help her (and she may have chosen to opt out and recover). Darkangelo has also been an impact player for the Whale this year, helping to lift a team that on paper isn't as talented as the Boston Pride to near-parity with them, and that might outweigh her college experience on teams that weren't offensive juggernauts. Cameranesi though is surprising. Trivigno brings a certain feistiness that may be useful in certain circumstances so she may be on the team with that role in mind (this is a polite way of noting that she recently logged her 200th penalty minute -- go Dana!).
