4D Chess: Biden Offers The Palestinians $100 Million In Exchange For None Of The Hostages | Babylon Bee

TEL AVIV — In a stunning move sure to be taught at universities in politics and diplomacy classes for generations to come, President Joe Biden has brokered a deal to send $100 million of U.S. taxpayer money to the Palestinian Authority in exchange for none of the hostages currently being held by Hamas.

"Here's the deal," Biden mumbled to the gathered media. "Nobody's ever done anything like this. We're going to send 100 million…billion trillion…100 thousand…all of the…the…100 million dollars to…to the…to the folks that…those folks there. Philistines. Planetfiends. Palestines. Palestinians. And in return, I have asked for none of the people being held hostage by Hamas to be released. I worked hard on this deal and held firm until they agreed to take it. I showed them who's boss. Marginzarfinabit…"

The deal, which was quickly agreed to by the Palestinian Authority, is believed to provide much-needed humanitarian relief to the Palestinian people by funding the purchase and assembly of more rockets, bombs, and small arms. "Our people are starving and thirsty," said Palestinian Authority spokesman Omar Hassan Bakalakadaka. "This influx of funding from the United States will go a long way toward paying for further violent acts to be perpetrated against Israeli civilians. Thank you, President Biden, and death to Israel."

Biden has promised the Palestinians he will authorize another $100 million after the first $100 million is spent, in exchange for nothing whatsoever.

At publishing time, the White House stressed that the administration was more than willing to take the Palestinian Authority at its word that none of the $100 million would be used for all of the things the Palestinian Authority always uses money for, such as weapons and horrific acts of terrorism.

Not surprising. Die Linke has always had an element of old East German hardliners longing for the days of the Stasi and Russian bootlicking.

The amount of people in my old neighborhood (p-berg) who would have been happy with the wall going back up was def higher than I expected.

I’ve probably said this before. I knew a guy whose dad had been very high up in the stasi and- well, I’m not sure there’s enough therapy in the world for that

Hamas has given the right exactly what they needed. An insane left that has lost it's ****ing mind.

Don't call Hamas a "Left." They are an authoritarian liberationist terrorist organization. Menachem Begin and John Brown would fit right in.

If you are going to use violence to free your people, you better not miss.

I'm not calling Hamas left. I'm saying what they did brought out all the crazies on both sides.

And he is right. A very vocal minority of The Left are tripping over their dicks so badly it is killing us.

This will always happen, though. There will always be idiots, and even when there aren't there will always be agents provocateur.

The difference is the Left doesn't make these people Speaker. Or President.

That's not enough. The idiots have taken over the narrative.

I support Palestinians. I support a two-state solution. I don’t support Israel’s government. I don’t support their carpet bombing of Gaza, basically an open-air prison for decades now. I don’t want Israelis and Jews targeted or harassed or killed, especially ones who don’t support Bibi’s government and his anti-Palestinian, no, anti-human, policies. I also think our government’s full-throated support for Israel, while doing things like dismissing death tolls of Palestinians in Gaza (which Biden’s staff uses internally amongst themselves) is wrong, and I disagree with it. I think Biden needs to support Palestinians- not Hamas- Palestinians. I think he could support both sides of this conflict, but I don’t see it anywhere, and that disappoints me. Not enough to not vote for him- I’m not Muslim and/or (previously) persecuted like my Bosnian coworkers, but I simply don’t like his response. I am very far left, and a privileged white man. I also do not think I am tripping over my d-ck for holding such beliefs.

I think your thoughts also summarize my feelings on this fairly well. I'm confident I'm far from the only one who would endorse this here
