University of Maine 2024–2025: Freel-ing good

Bentley packing it in and Maine looks off to me. Not surprised Ive seen Maine look off in Portland many times over the years.

In the FWIIW department, Bentley never led in its three losses to UMass, UNH, and NU earlier this season. But the Falcons were not outshot by so much in any of the first periods either. The five--minute major did not help the Falcons.

Maine out working Bentley, but anytime Bentley gets a decent scoring chance they are burying it. This is a very frustrating game to watch as a Maine fan. I bet Bentley fans are delighted to the point they are chuckling.

Nice to see Duerr and I guess Harrison get goals against their former teams.

From the CHN box score it appears that Connor Hasley is having quite the game in net.

He is, but Bentley has blocked 18 shots already. Bentley has blocked more than shot on net for offense.

Maine’s gonna need to throw the kitchen sink at them in the third to close that deficit. Bentley plays good defense.

Bentley 3-2

Scott showing great hand-eye by getting a shot off on a rush from Makar, a puck off the ice when he onetimed it.
