When might Shayne Gostisbehere go pro? Flyers insider David Isaac of The Courier Post offers a guess here.

Re: Union Hockey 2012-2013 - Unfinished Business

With Team USA training camps starting on Sunday, I get a couple thoughts from Jim Johannson on Shayne Gostisbehere. Johannson is the general manager of the 2013 U.S. National Junior Team and also the assistant executive director of hockey operations for USA Hockey.

See what he has to say here: https://www.facebook.com/unionhockeynews

Jeremy Welsh has been picking up his scoring pace in the AHL recently. Jeremy has 5 points in his last 6 games, including a goal and an assist in today's 3-0 win over the Houston Aeros.

If expected rain holds off I'm going to check out the team's clinic they are doing tomorrow in NYC's Central Park rink for the Hockey in Harlem youth hockey program.

Should be a great experience for everyone involved. If you attend, please let us know how everything goes.

Assuming the Ghost makes the final cut, the WJC games will be broadcast on the NHL Network.

Actually, even if he doesn't make the cut, they'll still be aired on NHL-N, although I'm sure the willingness to watch will not be quite as high. ;)

Commit Michael Pontarelli (2014) has been named CCHL player of the week. He has been en fuego lately, including a 4 point game last time out.

I'll have more on him tomorrow with some insight straight from Cornwall, where he's playing for the CCHL Cornwall Colts.

USA wins, 3-2, in OT.

Game winning goal.... Shayne Gostisbehere, with an assist from Miami's Sean Kuraly.

Re: Union Hockey 2012-2013 - Unfinished Business

Gostisbehere ended the game w/ the GWG, 3 SOG, 4 PIM (slashing, hooking), and most time on ice excluding goalies on US roster.
