I have posted on the Union threads a couple of times (I'm an RPI fan and my oldest son goes there, but my godfather went to Union). Have said over the past couple years that I love the way you guys play, and quite frankly think that you have not yet gotten all that you deserved, and would love to see you win it all. That being said, I just read this article, and I cant tell you how much I want you guys to just hammer thru this tourney. For the team - go and own it, and make it happen. Wishing you guys all the best, and hope you know that there are more than just people directly affiliated with your school who really want this for you and are rooting for your acheivement, regardless of the outcome.

I'm not a Union grad, but I have been following the school since it joined the ECAC (and before). The program was started with all of the odds stacked against it, and over time, with contributions from former coaches Bruce Delventhal and Kevin Sneedon, and a big assist from former coach Nate Leamon, and now with the full support of the administration, a great coach in Rick Bennett, and all along with great players who did their absolute best to establish the program, the team is poised to compete on the ice for a national championship. I couldn't be happier for Union and wish the team all the best in Tampa.

Read the comments to to the article, they are much better. The author had nothing of value to say and the article adds nothing to the narrative of this great season. He didn't like the hockey players during his years on campus and he sucked at tennis. Wah and double wah.

Pumped to wear the scarlet and brown of SLU to tomorrow's games and cheer y'all on, I'm planning to be at the red carpet event prior to the game. 1470 minutes until gametime if my math is correct!

Let's drop the puck already...sheesh!

Let everyone talk all they want about Union-Ferris St being the "JV" game - perhaps that will put the winner of this game under the radar and let the public perception think that the BC-Minn winner will take it all. As Rick Bennett said during the press conference, "I'd like to see the varsity teams".

For everyone in Tampa, have a good time and enjoy the game. I'd like to be able to sense from TV that Union's contingent will be strong. :D

ESPNU is showing Union-UML at 10:30 this am, and Cornell Ferris right after. I will be scouting lol ! Want to check out Ferris. GO U !!!!

I'll be stuck at work for most of the game. Can someone please post score updates for those of us who can't watch?

I'm recording the game, so I hope to have something awseome to watch as I eat dinner. I'm there in spirit as I'm dressed in Union colors.

Ha. Mets, Knicks, and Union all playing today. I think my head is going to explode. It's all about the U today though.

How did you know I was a Mets fan btw?
