Dumbest play of the year comes after the period ends. Devlin should be benched, I don’t care how hot he’s been. THAT type of play is why Souza team’s will NEVER win it all.

Well, he will be benched for what I am hoping will be 2 full minutes to begin third. Too bad after an otherwise good second period.
 
For the number seven ranked team, Maine kind of… suuuucks. Pity they’ll likely back into the tournament denying a surging team the opportunity. Good for UNH shoveling dirt on them both nights and burying the hacks for the sweep. As the student section sign said, “Puck UMaine”. Nice to see Cy get off the schneid. Coach Souza called out his top three D men. Played a ton of minutes. Does the team have a “6th man” award? It’s Lavins. It kills me to type it, but Go BC!

You bet. UMaine took a pounding this weekend, and UNH is arguably arisen from the (Lawlor) dead. Bring on UMass.

I'll say this much ... it's a likeable, hard-working group of players who seem to genuinely like each other, and play for each other, which does make a difference. It would be a shame to see this group come up short of Boston, they showed a lot of brass when some of us (moi for sure) counted them out. I'm not sure why some folks seem to be resigned that they can't match up with UMass, when UMaine is a better team, and UNH just swept them? Then again, I had some brave talk about BC recently, and that did not go so well ...

... Dale, I'm just SO confused at this point, every logical bone in my body is screaming out that this is yet another mirage, and at some point in these next 4 weekends, the usual ghosts of UNH Past will show themselves, and I'll be doing the Charlie Brown "blockhead-kicking-football" crap after letting myself get sucked in. What's worse is, BOTH of my teams are doing this to me now (see DRW), but if I need to put my trust in one of either Souza or Yzerman, well ... that's not a very close call now, is it? But being a greedy bast!d, I want some real postseason play for both the 'Cats and the Wings. Let's get this UNH thing sorted first, please.

Putting that all aside ... I'm kinda shocked at UMaine letting this happen to them. Barr has some work to do, and pronto ...
 
HR approves of this weekend lol! If you had told me we were going to sweep Maine I would have told you to get your head examined !!

Whatever the mind meld sesh MS7 and Co had with Cy and the gang paid off...

Now...keep doing more of that 'Cats!

Ps to Maine fans sorry for that lame FU cheer from our student section. Again.
