UNH Hockey 2023-2024 Season Thread - End Of The Cellar-Dweller Era??

They are always on HE site. Go to Friday Mens and after the team pairings they have a segment on each game. This is usually posted after noon and the line typically around 5 but sometimes earlier.

Looks like Moose is still hurt, not sure how long he will be out. I will have to investigate. I am glad Fitzy is back in, we need to further ruin the GAA.

Yes I am quoting myself. Fitzy is -4, the worse +/- on the team. Meanwhile Babbo is +5 in 4 less games which is 7th on the team.
 
what's with us giving up goals right away? Is it a lack of focus? So frustrating checking the score not even a couple minutes in and already trailing.
 
C’mon y’all. Get real. UNH winning tonight would be a massive upset. OTOH Merrimack is somehow still even with BU.

It’s not about winning. It’s about a coach putting the best line up out there and a team playing hockey. Undisciplined hockey from the D has killed them tonight.

There’s a difference between expecting a win and expecting to field a team that looks prepared and like it belongs on the same ice as a team in their own league.

Oh yeah. That. Right. It was sort of disappointing to switch on the game and be down by three.

If you find this game acceptable then we are on different spectrums of reality. The 3 PP goals have been scored in 27 seconds. No per, total. This team isn’t good enough to not play hard.
 
You can tell this team has tuned out Coach Souza. Haven't been the same team since the winter break. End this downward spiral of a season and fire Souza already. We can't win on the road against ranked teams and are so undisciplined drawing stupid penalties.
