*2023/2024* or are we rewinding the tapes two decades when the standards for both teams were higher?

Think it'd be solid to land Joe Dumais as Rand's, hopefully former, right hand man. Surely he comes to Durham with something sweet stocked in the cupboards

Now that I've seen her tweet on X ... I will only say it's interesting she did not mention Coach in her tweet. Considering he is apparently a HEA COTY candidate (as 'Ref points out), I find it a little odd he's not incorporated into her otherwise upbeat post. Maybe she's leaving the door ajar for (1) an overqualified candidate becoming available in D-1 land, OR (2) she's otherwise gonna offer MS7 a modest one or two year deal, with a nominal increase, and she is not assuming he'll be willing to accept her terms.

I think still we'll find out by Friday, next Monday at the latest.

The longer it waits, I think it's a tell she's looking for better ...

Speaking of dates was reminded that his current contract runs to April 30 FWIW dept..
 
Any insiders have any insight on next year's class? Is there a good chance we can land someone from the transfer portal? These obviously will be important so we can build on this year.

Obviously, not many guys are leaving. Highly regarded twins coming in from Canada. They will have to slot in somewhere. Both are scorers. A few defensemen will be competing for the two open D spots.

there should be 2 spots. Reid and Fitzy. Babo should take that spot worse case and replace Reid.
 
You need to forgive Norbert's wishful thinking on Fitzy. He is not a fan and well Mexico and lots of beer.

Looks like the MS7 renewal story broke the Internet. 3 year extension. The bar for performance has now been raised, and I for one will see to it that any slippage in performance AND effort is recorded here for posterity's sake.

Any idea if Souza will be making any guest appearances on NESN during upcoming B's games? Playoffs??

Vacation nyet ... staycation, oui monsieur!! There's recruiting and portal wooing to be done. Chop chop ...
