UNH 2024/2025 Goldberg Edition

I just set this up to work with Tapatalk. I kind of like the PWA version better, but if you search for USCHO in Tapatalk, you can log in through that app. We had Tapatalk at one point but it didn't seem to play well with vBulletin.
I use iOS and iPadOS but not Safari (DuckDuckGo) so no PWA for me. I never used Tapatalk but recall viewing posts from those who did and deciding not to try it although I don’t recall exactly why. I’ve been happy with the web site on an Apple device in Duck, will continue with that for now. So far it’s great. Thank you for the timely communication and all your efforts. Very much appreciated!

Like the new board, so far so good! Can we get our profiles to show the year we originally joined and our number of posts? Edit - I just noticed that if you hover over the profile it displays that info!

Thoughts on any outside chance as to a possibly successful outcome for tomorrow's game against BU? Seems to me that New Hampshire hasn't shown the offensive skill level of other Hockey East teams, however my observation is based on a small sample size. Thinking positive thoughts as always...

I think they have a shot at it, depending on which team shows up...I mean, we have played some good games with them but haven't been able to win any of them so there's that.

That said BU isn't going to want to have a 3 game losing streak on their backs entering the Beanpot, which, is probably BC's to lose...here's hoping?

I would truly relish at least the appearance of more personal coaching for our players, especially those in the freshman and sophomore classes. My take is that other programs do a better job of coaching players up so that as they mature, they play a more polished and critical role in the game. Over the years I've seen numerous examples of a player's best seasons being their first two years after arriving in Durham with some even showing regression in their games. Perhaps involving the assistants to a greater extent to pursue game improvement at the individual level.

You may be asking for a lot. I am hoping to see some coaching during the games. There have been far too many times over the course of this season during TV time outs where MS7 doesn't engage the team. I am not looking for Pete Carroll but how about drawing up a play or pointing out a strategy?

Agreed. BU is very beatable. One could argue UNH should have won both games (whale miscue after coming back from 1-3 and 0-5 on the PP in a 2-1 loss). It would be a nice way to start the weekend and keep BU on a downward spiral. (Forever Optimistic!)

Ditto n the could certainly win but ditto again on the “will they”. Very tough year to be a fan once again. While very bummed with BU weekend we didn’t look all the bad. Night one was a topical just couldn’t finish night. Many real opportunities but no cigar. Second night a bit stronger both ways but some silly mistakes. The real depressed was night one of the UVM weekend. Two goal lead and then…..
