Keeping most of my powder dry, TBH I've got other things I'm focused on today ... but hopefully we'll see a better performance in Storrs. As I shared with you during the game, I thought UConn brought the intensity (and initiated the chippy play), UNH didn't match the intensity at first, and then overreacted once the game started to slip away from them. Someone commented earlier about the captain engaging in some needless WWE activity while UConn put together the clinching 3-0 PPG, and that was just the worst example of that approach.
Mucinex deprived of a shutout late (somehow I managed to make it through UConn's ENG afterwards), but made the saves he needed to make, left a TON of juicy rebounds out there ... but no brave UNH forwards in the dirty areas there to contest for any of those.
Luce is still a total scumbag, but it doesn't mean he's not a better coach than MS7. He's no Jerry York, either ...
