He probably has been, he's an emotional guy. I feel bad for him, he was trying to give Rau a big ol' bear hug and miscalculated the trajectory.

Gotcha, misunderstood, when you said "captain" I thought of Captain instead of a captain.

So no new news? I know that normally we all don't start talking actual puck until Thursday, but since I took off Friday and am leaving the wretched state to the south of Minnesota tomorrow, today IS like my Friday. And hopefully shortly after hotel check-in Friday afternoon I will not be able to read any posts. :D

SCSU has 12 healthy Forwards available. Sounds like UND could be spread even thinner with the injuries that have accumulated. Not sure who will be available this weekend for UND. I expect to see the Huskies push a high tempo game early and see if they can wear them down. This has been proven hard to do. Blood has recorded super-human minutes per game and expect to see the same this weekend.

Should be good weekend of hockey. Check out the first annual Granite City Pond Hockey tournament on Lake George this weekend. Former Husky John Swanson has made this a reality.

Well we have 6 more series and the WCHA playoffs so there could be a bunch of these before the season is over. :)

I can't believe that no one has mentioned M.C. Dugout, that place rocks. The Hairy Buffalo is a pretty good drink as well. Last time I was there they had a fan bus as well.

Ditto. Booked a hotel room and looking forward to the Pond Hockey tournament and possibly visit the Craft Beer Expo at the St. Cloud Civic Center.

So to answer this question. Grimaldi is out. As are Forbort, O'Donnell, Rodwell and probably Parks. Hooray 16 skaters! Maybe this is why nothing happened to Blood and Kristo. The WCHA felt bad for UND!

WOW!!! the bad news keeps coming... Lets hope that by the weekend hopefully Parks and Forbort are well enough to beg the coach to play.

I was actually being sarcastic. I am going to the Craft Beer Expo on Saturday, though. FYI, last year it sold out beforehand, so you probably want to buy your ticket ahead of time if you want to go.

It will be tough this weekend with those guys out. Hopefully Parks is able to heal up and make the lineup. It will be yet another weekend basically running 3 lines and 2 D-pair. On the positive side, Tate Maris should be making the trip.

Hakstol hinted on the coaches show that Eids may play this weekend. He didn't say he would, but don't be surprised if he does.
