UND @ SCSU: Didn't People Used To Protest This Series?

Re: UND @ SCSU: Didn't People Used To Protest This Series?

Marvin was a junior during the Genoway play, he was not the captain at the time.

Lee?... Grimaldi?... Bueller?...

Sorry to interject; I'm going to be in St.Cloud with a small group of guys in a couple weeks - for the Gopher series - and we don't have any idea where to stay. We're in our late 30s and early 40s, so we're pretty much just looking for a decent bar/grill, and then hotel, hopefully, not terribly far removed from the National Hockey Center. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Sheesh. Dude Love's batting average is below Joe Mauer's in this thread.

We got a great deal for the Grand stay its right by downtown which has a shuttle to and from games. A suite with one bedroom, one living room and a kitchen for $100, or $120 for one with two bedrooms.

Well, Kelly Inn has been my standby. Free busses from the bar(s) to and from the games. Around the same price, and in the smack middle of downtown.

Wasn't Marvin already the captain when he nudged Genoway?

Yes, he was captain his junior and senior year. I loved how the kid played and wish he was on the team this year. For the record Blood could play on my team any day. he should sit one game for the punch in the hand shake line, but the kid is a beast on the ice and a hell of a defenseman.

Raboin was THE Captain two years ago, which I thought the question was

SCSU fans, what is the parking situation like at NHC - cost, availability, etc.? Am I better off finding a shuttle to take? If so, what bars/restaurants offer free shuttles to and from the games? I've heard about MC Dugout. Any others?

Also, I like to collect pucks from the rinks I visit. Does NHC have a pro shop where I can pick up a puck?

Thank you in advance.

You are not going to hear nothing about Grimaldi until tomorrow. Tomorrow you will hear he skated with the team and that is it.

It's free to park by the rink. I usually park a block west because it's a pain in the butt trying to get out of K Lot. And there isn't really a pro shop, but there is a corner of the arena where you can buy souvenirs.

It's not the Ralph. Crappy food, no beer at the arena, and the pro shop (the campus book store) is lack luster at best.

If you are not familiar with St. Cloud, I would recommend taking a shuttle. St. Cloud drivers are worse that Illinois idiots. :)

Re: UND @ SCSU: Didn't People Used To Protest This Series?

Howie's downtown has a shuttle, drink specials and decent eats. There will be a basketball game at the same time on at least one of the nights, so the upper lot will be full. Plenty of spaces in the lot south of the rink, but a pain getting out.

If Blood lost his A, can't he just buy another vowel?

Blood will not be disciplined by the WCHA.
