UML offseason looking towards 2010/11 season

Re: UML offseason looking towards 2010/11 season

UPDATE: Soup told me to spread the word. CARTER HUTTON IS NOW AN OFFICIAL FLYER!!! He was just called up right after the Monarchs game and is flying out and suiting up for tomorrows match vs Devils at 7pm. GOOD LUCK HUTTS!!!:D :D :D :D :D :D

Good for Hutton !!! I was at the Manchester game and I thought he played a great game. The poor kid is facing about 34 shots a game. I wish him the best of luck!!!

Re: UML offseason looking towards 2010/11 season

Was at the monarchs game myself, had a nice suite and enjoyed the amenities of manchester, now im very excited to see Carter Hutton in the NHL hope he gets the chance to start!!!
Thing that stinks is Philly/Boston are both fighting for playoff position.... BEST OF LUCK HUTTS

Re: UML offseason looking towards 2010/11 season

Looks like Hutts will be sticking around just for tonight. My friend showed me on Flyers Twitter: Holmgren: Carle in tonight, Backlund day-to-day with groin injury, Hutton allowed here for one game only.

#40 will be heading back to Phantoms tomorrow :(

still early in the career :p I'm going to bet he's having the time of his life right now. Only PITA is that he'll have to fly back to Lowell after the game.

If I were him I'd wear that flyers jersey all week long. :p

edit: i'm more in awe that Emerick has uttered "UMass-Lowell" something he couldn't do when Edmonton made that cup run with Roloson in net and MacTavish behind the bench.

Re: UML offseason looking towards 2010/11 season

Barry Goers had career goal #1 (and career assist #1) for Las Vegas in a 6-5 loss last night.

Re: UML offseason looking towards 2010/11 season

I was at the Flyers game Sunday night, took some video of Hutton during warmups just because I knew you guys would enjoy it. :)

Still wearing his UML helmet, and red, white, and blue pads (though I think those are different than what he was wearing at Lowell).

(If the video is too slow to load on your computer, try reducing the resolution in the lower right after you press play).

Re: UML offseason looking towards 2010/11 season

That's unbelievable. Love the still shot when he skates to bench for water and Martin Brodeur is in foreground.

Re: UML offseason looking towards 2010/11 season

Thats really cool seeing hutton on the ice with the flyers. Even though it was only for one game.

Re: UML offseason looking towards 2010/11 season

No matter what the animosity between fans it's always great to see a player get a shot at playing in the big leagues.... especially an undrafted player (I assume he is from the ATO )

Re: UML offseason looking towards 2010/11 season

For those of you planning to attend the banquet, I received word from the Hockey Office today that it's being moved to May 7th at 7PM, still at the Inn and Conference Center.
