That's an impressive OOC schedule that Vermont has. Compared to Lowell's, which looks to be much weaker, I'm anticipating lots of SOS chirping from the Vermon fan base next season. :D

Re: UML Offseason 2015: It's not rebuilding anymore

Marty Meehan is dead to me:

“Someone in the press asked me who I was going to root for when UMass Amherst plays UMass Lowell,” he said, referring specifically to two hockey squads that face off against each other and the 10 other teams in the highly competitive Hockey East conference. “I said, ‘that’s an easy one; when the game’s in Amherst, I’ll be rooting for the Minutemen, and when the game’s in Lowell, I’ll be rooting for the Riverhawks; that’s how I’ll solve that.’”

Curious who Lowell will be ending the season with. I'm guessing probably Scumherst.

The solution is simple. Never visit Amherst (a good decision for his physical and mental health I would say)

For the win!

People in the western part of the state are always saying there is an Eastern bias....

Re: UML Offseason 2015: It's not rebuilding anymore

From the Arizona State thread:

In other news ASU picked up a transfer from UMASS-Lowell in Dylan Hollman. He will play starting in the 2016-2017 season.

Re: UML Offseason 2015: It's not rebuilding anymore

From the Arizona State thread:

The best of luck to Dylan. I believe he only played in one game last year. I would imagine there maybe a couple more that move on. It will be interesting to see what the roster looks like.

Re: UML Offseason 2015: It's not rebuilding anymore

Glad he decided to stop before his brain was mush. He is a beautiful writer. Would love to see a book about his experiences,

Re: UML Offseason 2015: It's not rebuilding anymore

I wish he got more than that one game but he did get that much.

It's unfortunate that he only had 3 games in the NHL, but he fulfilled a life-long dream. To see the route he took to get there is inspiring.
