More than a few people will probably be surprised when the schedule comes out. Not so much who the opponent is, but where and when the game will be played.

I thought we said no more outdoor games... well, I did at least... :o :mad:

edit: and if I'm counting right, the remaining opponent is zoomass... on the assumption they'd be on the schedule like recent years.

edit #2: wait, didn't I hear something about the winter classic? Are we the B game for that one?

The tentative schedule is missing two NC games. The UMass game and ?.

According to a MATT VAUTOUR article from May there will be no college hockey at Gillette. I'm not sure if that's changed.

This is correct. The last 2 NC games are UMass and the mystery one that I mentioned. No, it's not at Gillette.

uhmm... we're playing club hockey Navy on an aircraft carrier... if basketball can do it, why not us?

My guess is they're playing Bentley in Watertown? I thought there was some talk of giving Bentley a return date some time ago...

and we'll have to fight with local mens league times so it'll either be 11pm or 11am

ouch.....first Olli Kälkäjä and now Jeff Smith.

During the season, Smith earned a scholarship to the University of Massachusetts-Lowell where he went 3-3-0 (1 shutout) with a 3.02GAA and .885 sv% percentage as a freshman. “It was a good experience, the coaches gave me an opportunity but I just don’t think it was the right fit” says Smith of the collegiate experience.

ugh... yuck... I'm thinking a trip to see Blaise MacDonald at Colby... unless we're really going to scrape the bottom and head to the Milford Ice Pavillion
