This is the second consecutive year that the tournament will be held midweek, taking place on Tuesday, Dec. 29 and Wednesday, Dec. 30.

Hockey East points will be on the line in Belfast, which will be very interesting to see. NU and UML will play a second time (tentatively) on Feb 5, in between the Beanpot games for NU.

Tough day for Northeastern as F Mike Smzatulas will not be back for his junior season. It appears he may transfer to another school.

The Huskies also lost a recruit to the OHL today.

NU gave out tentative schedules at a meeting last week. NU and UML will play game #2 on Feb 5, between the Beanpot games. At Lowell.

According to the attached link, the second night of the tournament is not pre-determined.

On Friday 27th November Brown and Colgate Universities from the Eastern College Athletics Conference (ECAC) will battle it out for divisional points, with Northeastern University and University of Massachusetts Lowell also going head to head in a an all important Hockey East rivalry.

Saturday 28th November will get underway with a 3rd/4th consolation game featuring the two losing teams from Friday before the grand final on Saturday evening where the two winners from the pervious day will compete to be first to get their hands on the Belpot Trophy.

The Three Rivers Classic is a Mon/Tue tourney, not Tue/Wed. The 3 other schools (Clarkson, Penn State, and Robert Morris) all have it as Mon/Tue on their schedules.
