UML Offseason 2015: It's not rebuilding anymore

Re: UML Offseason 2015: It's not rebuilding anymore

My fault... I thought he took the one hit and was done.

Never talked to him personally but from a distance he seemed like a "good kid"... I use quotes because the world is a weird place...

Good to see the perseverance got him through.
He was wonderful with Lil les when Lil was little. Very kind and thoughtful person.

i can't believe how expensive of a trip it would be to go to Belfast.

Thanksgiving is one of the few holidays that whole families get together. Not a happy camper that people who plan sporting events think sports are more important than family :(

Met this kid. He was a wonderful guy. Friendly, funny and well loved. It is just devastating. I can't begin to find words. Cannot believe we won't see him leaping over the High Jump bar one more time. :( They have started a go fund me page for the funeral and to start a scholarship in his name. Link if anyone wants to donate. http://www.gofundme.com/tonionikeku

Congrats to Jason! He is an awesome person.
Yes he is. And best of luck to him.

Having another ex-coach in the USHL can't hurt Lowell's recruiting efforts (as long as they parted on good terms).

As far as I know they did. It is a great opportunity for him

Ice hockey’s goaltender incidental contact rule modification approved.

The NCAA Playing Rules Oversight Panel approved the modification to the rule regarding contact with the goalkeeper on Thursday.

Next season, when an offensive player makes incidental contact with a goalkeeper and the puck enters the net, the referee will use his or her judgment to determine if the contact prevented the goalkeeper from stopping the puck.

Last season in those scenarios, goals were disallowed when an offensive player initiated the contact.

Re: UML Offseason 2015: It's not rebuilding anymore

The Assistant Coach and Hockey Equipment Manager jobs were posted today on the job site. That makes three jobs currently posted for the hockey program.

https://jobs.uml.edu/applicants/jsp/shared/frameset/Frameset.jsp?time=1437175937514

can somebody contextualize all this for me? The positions open that is... Assistant coach is kinda obvious... recruiting, film, practices, etc. Mostly the "Director of hockey operations"
