Re: UML 2011/2012 Season Thread

Or Carr could be rusty? I know that time off is great; rest, relax which will result in enhanced performance. Breaks always have me worried, as you can lose momentum. Its the same thing with work and school... sometimes it takes us a little longer to get ourselves situated, back in the grind and most importantly - comfortable and confident.

I know Norm will have these guys ready, but sometimes thats out of the control of the coach.

Don't mean to be a downer, but this is possible.

Anything is possible but Lowell is better than UVM this season and I expect a win. Did you watch the UMass/UVM game on Saturday? No offense to handicapped people but that game was a cripple fight.

Really, couldn't you find a better way to express your feelings. And I don't mean something like "the blind leading the blind".

I guess you never saw the South Park episode with Timmay* vs Jimmy?

Any news on the injury front for tomorrow night? Would be nice to get Pendenza back.

Other than what was noted earlier below, nothing new that I have heard. UVM's Connor Brickley is out though.

During the UVM/UMass Fenway game, Brickley was referenced has having a "significant setback" to the injury which occurred at the WJT and that it was "worse than expected". They said on the telecast that his injury is not considered a "day-to-day thing" and for a team that's rapidly moving in the direction we were at this time last year, it's the last thing they need.

A few of the Riverhawks visit an elementary school in Chelmsford and read to the kids. It is nice to see the team do this.

Can never recruit too early ;)

You know, it's funny I say that, but we've had guys come though our program who make regular visits to Tsongas.

I'm in a subway station and a bit drunk, but I'd like to say that I'm extremely glad about the strides we've made... Kinda reassuring to believe good things come through dedicated effort. We've come an extremely long way from an apathetic campus when I started at Lowell.
