Back again. It's UNO/UMD week.
Most of my family is from Minnesota and I have made countless trips. But, I have
never been to Duluth. Sheesh, my grandparents had a place at Breezy Point Resort north of Brainerd for almost 50 years and I have
never been to Duluth, even though it's only like a 100 miles from there and I have been there dozens of times and STILL vacation there every year. Looking forward to seeing Duluth, and, your new building.
Thanks for all the recommendations. I have an Uncle that has stayed at and recommended our staying at Fitgers's so that is where the "boss" has us staying. Fitger's even told us they'll take us to and from the games. I was all fire worried about getting tickets bought 3 weeks ago for both games and I note that neither game is sold out--yet. Kind of a surprise although this series is all posturing now. I'm real interested in seeing UMD since I don't know a lot about them other than you guys seem to be kind of limping down the stretch. Be advised that our power play has really stunk lately, although that may be a function of playing teams lately with great penalty kills.
UNO's Blue Line Club had planned a bus trip to this series but, it fell through for reasons I am unaware of. We don't (shame on us) belong to UNO's booster club. So, I guess we'll stand out like a sore thumb since I doubt that there will be a lot of UNO fans at the game since this series really only impacts Pairwise, and, the final conference standings, spots 2, 3, & 4.
FYI, our board is here:

We'll be in section 221 on Friday night and section 222 on Saturday night. In UNO gear, we should be easy to find. I promise I'll buy beers for anybody that approaches me that says they saw this post.
Sudden thought. Do they serve alcohol in your building? They do in ours because the Qwest Center in Omaha is a city owned facility.
