Something is really rotten with this team. Awful effort in OT and terrible shoot-out "attempts"
It's almost like there's a reason some of us have been worried about recruiting at the forward position for a couple of years....So far we’re still showing that we are one of the bottom teams in NCAA in scoring
I know recruits pay attention, but man, listening to the announcers about how "gritty" we are, and how we "muck" things up, and "slow" things down ... just made me wonder how many higher-end forwards would have no interest in playing in that type of system.Watching them get behind against better teams and coming up a little short I can take. But watching them get a lead over equal or lesser teams and sitting back on their heels in their own end, playing just to hold on, is driving me nuts. I bet at least 15 minutes of period 3 and 4 minutes of OT were in our end. UML coasted around watching Merrimack move their feet and dumped it out when they got possession as if we were ahead by 2 or 3 goals. I don't think we attacked the man with the puck a single time in OT. Can't blame lack of scoring touch when we didn't carry play into the o zone and put ourselves in the position to score for the last 20 minutes. Play to win damn it!
Last second loss by Lowell at Arizona State 71-69. Pretty impressive performance overall by the guys out west.
Yeah, terrible turnover. Would have been great for the team (and America East) to go on the road and beat two major conference teams back to back.I agree it was great effort, but what a tough finish. They let it slip away at the end after leading all game long.
Looking like Fowler will he out longer than just the winter break.
Fingers crossed Meehan isn't out long term either but he probably will be out a few weeks from the sounds of it
From what I've heard, Stella and Schweighardt could be back as soon as this weekend, Meehan and Blanchard are likely out until Christmas, and Fowler is hoping to return at some point in the 2nd half.
What type of injuries they have?
