By late arriving, I think you mean we're going to lose fans that game. Myself included.Probably going to be a late arriving crowd on the 16th against Amherst. Pats drew the 4:35 game that Saturday.
I'll be heading up with a couple of other people but we'll probably arrive close to game time. It's the lone game of the weekend for both teams. Hopefully the Hawks can get back on track. They'll have their hands full with the Wildcat's top line.Anyone heading up to the UNH on Friday for the game. Would anyone heading up like to meet for dinner and drinks before the game. Email me either here or at beachockey@Comcast.net Looking forward to seeing the game. GO RIVERHAWKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Happy Birthday Patman!
Massachusetts-Lowell at New Hampshire
Dave’s pick: The River Hawks have lost three of their last four, making it really tough to pick them against a surging UNH club. To my mind, this is the most difficult call of the weekend. By a whisker, I’m going with the Cats.
UNH 3, UML 2 (OT)
Jim’s pick: I haven’t picked against Lowell that often this season. But teams with a dominant line have given the River Hawks fits and that’s exactly what UNH has.
UNH 4, UML 3
That was a nice bounce back win. I still wish this team would score more, but I can't be disappointed with Lowell shutting out a good offensive team like UNH on their ice.
Lowell's problem is that they have 3 bad losses in the PWR, while at the same time only having 1 win against the 13 teams ahead of them. The later will correct itself when PC, BU and BC finally arrive on the schedule. The former poses a bigger problem.
Lowell absolutely cannot afford any more bad loses this season. They have to take care of Amherst, NU, Arizona State and AIC. Loses to any of those teams (without balancing it out by practically running the table against the remaining ranked teams) and an at-large bid won't be possible.

PWR tends to not weight bad losses too much... its more that our schedule strength stinks.
