Here you go:
http://www.umassathletics.com/collegesportslive/?media=508226

I'm fairly certain its not free, it looks like CBS College Live is their vendor. Unfortunately it looks like they make you register before you can even see the prices.

PC & BU also use this vendor, so if there is some type of all team monthly pass and you're planning to stream those games as well, it might be the biggest bang for your buck because all three of those games are within the next 30 days.
Yeah, I'm sure I have a login there already. Just gotta figure out what it is. Don't care about the cost, if it's in the $10-12 range. It's cheaper than the drive/dinner/drinks/tickets to go and I don't have the 90+ min drive home after :)

Re: UMass Lowell 2015-2016 Season Thread

Nope... not the only ones.

Saturday, 1/16/16
7:00 BC @ BU
7:00 CT @ Maine
7:00 MC @ ND
7:00 UMass @ Lowell
7:00 NU @ UNH
7:00 PC @ VT

I thought he was referring to New England in general and not Lowell specifically. At least that was my takeaway.

Mine was sort of over the years because this always seems to come up... Scheduling Maine against the super bowl and all the rest.

The first Pats sb win we beat Merrimack in a 2:00 pm matinee

It sounds like the Hawks had a nice solid win tonight. Let's keep it going tomorrow night.

Re: UMass Lowell 2015-2016 Season Thread

Definitely sounded good. I briefly flirted with the idea of going out to Amherst tonight for a second or two and then came to my senses, remembering the horrible experience with their "fans" back about 15 years ago the one time I went to a game at Mullins. Swore to never, ever go out there again.

Needed to take care of business tonight and continue tomorrow as these Amherst games sealed Lowell's doom last year in the PWR. Take care of the next two Amherst games, don't lay a typical Lowell egg against Arizona State and/or AIC, and then do their best against BU, BC, and Providence and hopefully they'll be in good shape.

Meanwhile the sound of crickets can be heard on here from Amherst. No sign of fans, no threads, no anything. But over on that UMass Hoops board with the hockey thread, the 2-3 fans they do have are already imploding after tonight's loss. It's a fun read.

I avoid it for the same reason- that and I was working.

Re: UMass Lowell 2015-2016 Season Thread

There are 5 HE teams that are above .500 in league play. The rest are, at best, 2 wins under or worse. Of course, we got swept by one of those. Have to keep winning games against these types of teams, because the BU/BU/PC games are still coming (starting next weekend), and those will be much tougher.

Re: UMass Lowell 2015-2016 Season Thread

Alright ... my day is made. A trip to Denver (well, OK, south of it, but I can still go to Denver) is on the schedule next year.

Re: UMass Lowell 2015-2016 Season Thread

Anyone catch the byplay between the amherst fans (all 15 of them) and the kids surrounding them? They were trying some sort of taunting cheer (tough when you are being shutout but I give them credit for trying) and all the little kids started cheering UML. It was cute.

Re: UMass Lowell 2015-2016 Season Thread

A good job by the Hawks of taking care of business last night. I liked the way they came out in the 3rd period with a jump and put the game away. They could have easily had several more goals. It was also nice to see some production from Hough, Collins and White this weekend.

Big series with PC coming up. The Friars will be tough.

Re: UMass Lowell 2015-2016 Season Thread

They so outplayed Amherst I looked up at the scoreboard midway thru the 2nd and was surprised it wasn't the 3rd period.

Re: UMass Lowell 2015-2016 Season Thread

Huge huge weekend for Lowell as they continue trying to stay in not only the top position of HE, but also in the Top 4. A three point weekend for the Hawks this weekend would put them 8 points up on PC, which would negate their 4 games in hand.

Defense really played well last weekend, but that was against Amherst. As one of their own fans said ... one of the two teams this weekend plays in Hockey East. The other ... is just Amherst.

Yeah saw that, funny! Very strange cheer for a bunch of dudes too. One of those cutesy, clapping, wiggle in your seat things usually dominated by giggling face painted girls. There were a lot of elementary aged kids at the game and a pretty decent crowd considering the students were absent. I enjoyed watching football on the jumbotron and took advantage of the cheapo snacks.

Sure was a butt-whipping! As close to a full 60 minutes as I've seen this year. UML looked like they were a totally different class of team which they are.

Speaking of "class" or lack thereof, pretty sad Amherst resorted to a dangerous cheap shot out of frustration at the end of the game. Was it my imagination or did UML fire a few extra slap shots from the points into crowds of maroon during the ensuing power play?

Congrats to Boyle who moved into first place in HEA in GAA and save %.

No doubt Providence will be a real test.

Raise your hand if you thought by mid January Kevin Boyle would be 22 GP: 1.62 / .941 with SIX shutouts . I think I heard Jim say on the radio that he only needs one more to get the single season team record.

He wasn't really tested on Saturday, but I'm really happy to see him get the shutout. It must have felt great to stick it to the school that took his scholarship away.

His shutout on Saturday tied the program's single-season record done by Cam McCormick (2001-02) and Connor Hellebuyck (2012-13 and 2013-14).

Thank you, you're right. If he gets one more he'll have sole possession of the record.
