Well, Boyle seemed to get it together tonight. :)

Bob goes to commercial break before the recap and WCAP starts playing some crap music show. THIS is why not broadcasting Bob on WUML is total bull****

ESPN NH is the main station, not WCAP.

I don't give a flying **** who the main station is. Don't broadcast the game if you're not going to broadcast the whole ****ing thing. It's a joke.

Shouldn't have to hop around stations to get the post game show. THIS is supposed to somehow be better than just WUML?

Unfortunately missed the game and the box score only tells part of the story. Anyone have a scouting report on my buddy Boyle? I was kinda hoping Smith would get a run for a while, perhaps tomorrow.

124:30 - how long Lowell has kept UNH from scoring against the Riverhawks. This includes tonight's game, HE Championship and part of our last regular season matchup.

Re: UMass Lowell 2014-2015 Season: The March to March

As for the game:

- Congrats to Kevin Boyle on a great night. Really came up big when UNH got behind the Lowell defense a couple of times.

- Anyone know why Gambardella was out?

- Collantone had a rough game, I though.

- White will never score a goal as wide open as that one in the second period

- PP looked bad tonight.

Went into the weekend expecting a split, hopefully Lowell can earn at least a point tomorrow and win the season series.

Thought Boyle looked great in net and overall great game by Lowell.

“Needless to say we are disappointed with the result. We gave them both of their goals. We had opportunities early and we had to put them in.”

Typical Umile. I think it's a physical impossibility for him to give Lowell any credit.

- Robert Francis was also out tonight. Any news on him?
- I thought the Hawks got away with some sloppy play in their own end tonight.
- Agree about the PP, there's not a lot going on with it at the moment.
- A lot of empty seats in Durham tonight.

Re: UMass Lowell 2014-2015 Season: The March to March

Congrats to Boyle for earning the shutout. Granted it was a team effort in that regard, but Boyle did make some nice saves. The knock on him was that he leaves big rebounds, and that happened several times last night; but by the latter part of the game he seemed to get more "sticky" when the puck reached him.

One of my takeaways from watching on TV last night is that I thought UML had good possession for most of the night. There were many instances where I remember thinking such based on their decision making when a player had the puck on his stick. Funny how the CHN writer had the opposite opinion where he wrote "Lowell struggles with possession..." He may be referencing a couple of times where UML had some very bad giveaways which led to good scoring opportunities by UNH. To me, this is will be UML's bane as this happens frequently.

Bottom line - good "W" on the road - can we sweep'em tonight?

Man, I like Josh, but that article ... needed an editor, desperately. It was honestly tough to read. "Sure up." Spelling errors, grammatical errors. Yikes.

Tough game to watch honestly. We had so many horrendous giveaways, including in our own zone. Boyle played a heck of a game though, and he deserves a ton of credit for rebounding from last game (no pun intended).

Expectations evolve. I went into this weekend hoping for a split. Now, I want at least 3 points.
