If they can play the way they did vs. BU in the first game at Agannis earlier this year as opposed to the one at Tsongas, they have a definite chance. Was an amazing game down at BU. But with Campbell not available, it will be tougher but not impossible based upon how they played today without him. But let's get by Vermont first as they're a tough draw although a win and a tie vs them this year is encouraging.
Boyle is going to have to play the game(s) of his life this coming weekend.
And btw, that play by Gambo today with no stick was unbelievable as previously noted by others. Never saw anything like it.
And so much for having 11 NHL draft picks on your team. The Fighting Leprechauns are headin' back to South Bend for the offseason!

I was just told that it has been confirmed that Lowell/Vermont will be the 5pm game on Friday and BU/UNH will be the late game. Expect the announcement to be up on Goriverhawks.com within minutes.

Agreed. Vermont is a very good team and Hoffman thier goalie was excellent tonight. Lowell faced Santaguida both nights two weekends ago.
As for ND, I know most fans on this board (BU, BC, etc.) want them to leave Hockey East, but as a Lowell fan, I don't.

Second time The Chosen (BU) has bucked what is supposed to be tradition of playing the early game. Sux!!! adding my voice of not being able to have a prayer of seeing that game. Not feeling the slightest bit bitter. When our coach wanted the 8PM game they wouldn't allow it. When BU wants it- poof.

I really wish they'd clear this up once and for all because even the USCHO beat writers are screwing it up (sorry to bag on ya Jim, but if anybody's going to know its going to be you.)
