Re: UMass Lowell '12/'13 Season Thread II

No video highlights to be found :(
Nate Leaman probably would like to pretend that our "power play" from last night never happened. Which in one sense, it didn't.
In all seriousness, I'm not sure the game last night was on Cox sports which might account for the delay.

Please beat Maine.

My name may say BU (long story) but I am a true Friar fan. Congrats on a great year and I wish you well going forward. I was at the birth of the alliance in 85 and enjoyed a few tailgates across the river when you guys had them. If not PC then let it be Lowell.
The alliance lives...

I remember you joining us for some of those tailgates. Good times!

Thanks again to the other HE fans for the kind words. It's kinda nice after all the years where we've had to congratulate others.

Congratulations to all the long suffering Chiefs/Riverhawks fans on this site. As happy as I am for my alma mater, the team, et al I’m even happier for all of you who’ve been out front taking the barbs and arrows while long time fans and lurkers like myself have sat here in silence protected by our PC monitor glass. Kudos to you all!

I must now retreat into the bat cave and monitor the local news feeds with my Indiana bred (not an alum) wife who’s incensed by the local media coverage…or lack thereof. If Channel 4 or 5 doesn’t acknowledge that the HE season ended with UML on top I fear the molotov cocktails being assembled in our dining room will soon be deployed.

John Buccigross just tweeted out the Jack Parker will announce his retirement from BU tomorrow. Perhaps Lowell winning the regular season title was the final straw for him. :D;)

If you haven't seen in the Maine/Lowell thread ... there are $5 off coupons available at Market Basket and Lowell 5 apparently.
