If I were a snowflake, that would probably be devastating. Seeing that I'm not, I'll post where and when I please.

That's how things are supposed to work in this great country.

In the meantime, thanks for playing along in this live demo of the First Amendment to the Bill of Rights.

Ain't you late for a trump rally?

Crocodile tears during the Red era, and your disingenuous BS never seems to end.

We see that, OK?

Go home. Just because you are allowed to spew BS, doesn't mean that it's a good idea.

RIT game will be interesting. Maine will definitely need to up their intensity level over what we’ve seen the last 2 weeks. Normally I’m not a fan of these extended breaks, but this year I think it was much needed to recharge and refocus.
Power? What’s that. My guess is it will be restored by Christmas based on the tree damage around my neck of the woods.
Wood stove cooking can be fun….!!!

Pray tell, Fishy ... WHAT "crocodile tears during the Red era"?!?

Recap of my thoughts on UMaine coaches: (1) if you want to hold a grudge over Walshy, be my guest. My take for many years now has been that Walshy won at least one (*two) D-1 titles as a coach, and was tremendous for entertainment value, college hockey hasn't been the same without him, especially with Jackie P. retired; (2) you guys collectively were WAY more harsh on Whitehead than I could ever have tried to be (I always thought he was decent); (3) always credited Standbrook as the best assistant coach in the business; (4) Red Gendron (RIP) was never even as good as Whitehead, and likely would/should have been non-renewed if he had not untimely passed first; and (5) Ben Barr is the first guy since Walshy who even belongs in the same area code, and may yet prove he also belongs in the same ZIP code as Walshy.

Red was to UMaine what Souza has been to the UNH program - barely competent, and not up to running a D-1 national contender.

The only crap I've thrown at your program in the last decade-plus was when Barr hired his corpulent assistant coach (Fortier), and I've let go of that rope for the most part over a year ago, in hopes he might get his girth under control. I'll probably chime in at some point on whether or not he's made any progress, but if you can't handle a gentle "Jenny Craig" jibe or two Fishy, then you've got to be the most sensitive poster of your relatively advanced age ("since D-2") on here.

If you want to bust my chops, have at it ... but it usually works better when you're being accurate, and I see nothing of that here.

Never lost power. But it did get to 45 degrees, and still played golf today :-)
We will remember that when Hurricane billybob rolls thru Tampa next fall ; ) I have a gennie and a wood stove so while it’s a pain in the butt it’s no big deal in reality. I saw line trucks from Michigan today. Must have seen 50 line trucks while I was driving from Brunswick to Portland this morning. Still a ton of damage between Gardner and Belfast in the woods along Rte 3. Crews were in there working though.

You must have had some high winds huh? What id they get down in the Portland area for winds? Sounds like that was the biggest outage since the great ice storm.

90 mph gust in Washington county, 71 in Bangor, not sure in Portland. Flooding in western Maine was unreal. Androscoggin was way out of the banks just about everywhere. Kennebec also.

Cmp had over 400 thousand outages on Monday. Might be bigger than ice storm? My brother still has no power.

Wow....didnt realize it was that bad. I know we didnt lose power where we are in the summers in SoPo because the temp/humidity and remote cameras never stopped working. Did notice a little spike in humidity during that period though. We hear many had flooded basements down that way though.

Sunday River pretty much lost their road in or out of the resort. Aerial pics are unreal. If you were at certain hotels, you couldn’t get out as road washed down the mountain.

I’ve lived here for a long time never seen winds like this storm. It was due southeast which is typical in winter for rain but then it went south, southeast and that caused a ton of damage.

Still 25000 without power including my brother, generators are your friend up here this week.

Merry Christmas folks. As far as hockey goes we got a great present, a competitive team once again. Enjoy

Gameday at Thompson vs RIT. They are a ranked team currently, so they will be no pushover despite having AHA on their sweaters. You'd have to think the winner of this game is the favorite to win the tournament tomorrow.
