The other negative, just looking at the box score, is throwing away a power play after mere seconds - twice.

I didn't see that as a major, either.

Certainly was a quality win just the same.

Tomorrow's game could actually mean more as far as the PW goes, though.

Losing to either team would be a kick in the balls.

(a) A minor penalty shall be assessed for holding an opponent. (b) A major plus a game misconduct penalty shall be assessed to a player who uses his hand to rub, grab or hold the facemask of an opponent. (c) A match penalty for reckless endangerment may also be assessed for grabbing or holding the facemask.

UNH's loss to Army drops them from #11 to #13.....also dropped Maine from #1 to #2.

Looks like the Bears will be playing Dartmouth....I'm glad they will play in the prime time slot against the home team in their barn.....it will be another test. Dartmouth is also ranked higher in the PWR than Lake State.

Didn't see that as an egregious reckless-endangerment type of thing.

Looked like a minor to me.

At those type of Tourneys, most of the time the host team plays the late game on the second night. ..if the site is @home.

I’m guessing he was told to let go and didn’t listen. He had a hold for quite awhile, it certainly was on purpose and not just a quick swipe.

Should be tough game tonight with a hostile crowd wanting to knock off a ranked team.
 
Has Maine played Dartmouth since the game at the Alfond around 20 years ago when Dartmouth pulled all the shenanigans? I’ve never seen a more classless opponent than that.

Maine had a 0-0 tie at Dartmouth in the 04/05 season which was the last time we played them.

It looked like the proper call to me, was at game. Rit held the facemask for a long time even while the ref was trying to break it up. About pulled off the maine players helmet if it wasn't for the chin strap.

Hopefully Maine jumps on Dartmouth right from the get go and puts Dartmouth behind the eight ball...Dartmouth just does not have the offense to comeback if down by 2-3 goals....
 
Here’s hoping they rediscover their face off superiority. Unlike last month, they haven’t generated many scoring chances off of them, especially the NB line.
