Ostman for now is the go to guy in net...Maine goes as far as he plays solid...as far as the NHL, every goalie gets a look...with Ostman he will get a look and if it's not in the cards NHL/AHL/ECHL...he can return home to Sweden and play in his country's pro leagues.

Could see Ostman getting a cup of coffee at the NHL level, but likely would have to sign with a team that doesn't have a very deep goaltending pipeline throughout their org.

Would make sense why Seattle brought him in for development camp because they immediately come to mind as a pro team that fits that mold.

Exactly...he will have several teams that will look at him...Seattle/Edmonton/San Jose/etc...teams are forever looking for that diamond in the rough...and if for him it does not work he can go home to Sweden...plus other leagues...Finland/Germany/Switzerland....

Is Ostman that much of a drop off from say a Ben Bishop? Both big bodies that take up a lot of net. Maybe Ostman has some lapses in concentration that Ben did not, I dont know, but Bishop had his time on the big stage....wouldnt be shocked after another year of work with Alfie "Super Focused" Michaud that Ostman becomes the complete goalie he is capable of becoming.

Someone on here was asking about how to score a club seat ticket, the ticket office just posted they have one seat for the games this weekend. Lol.

Glad to see they are trying to sell everything they got

Could really see Ostman benefitting from a goalie coach like Sylvain Rodrigue who is with the Oilers AHL affiliate and has done a great job with goalies that worked with.

Ostman was mentioned in the Athletic during the offseason as one of the top UDFA goalies to look out for. Someone will sign him to at least an AHL deal, and I could see him playing a few games in the NHL, at least.

150 bucks, one ticket

This team has struck a nerve with the local fan base. There hasn't been this level of interested in tickets since what early 2000's.
This is a great hockey community and their awake again. Love it cant wait.

Crazy isn't it? Looks like tomorrow will be a packed house, Saturday too. I'll be there in club level hopefully not too many obnoxious BC fans like last time..really hoping for atleast a split..a sweep would be awesome but really hard

Going to be aa tough weekend for Maine. I wasn't aware of how stacked this BC team is. Have to rough up all those first round picks without going to the box. Going to have to be like Quinnipiac(they lost to BC so....) and not leave any room for them to dangle. Any points this weekend will be great as far as I'm concerned.
