UAA @ SCSU: Well Look What We Have Here....

Re: UAA @ SCSU: Well Look What We Have Here....

I have been going to SCSU games since 91, tonight after a Win hopefully, the team will get to celebrate (with the fans) their first ever MacNaughton Cup Championship, and it just so happens I can't get out of work tonight to see it. FML. The only solution to this situation I see, is to have them win, on their last chance, their 2nd Broadmoor trophy as I will be present at the Final Five. Finish the job tonight boys, have fun celebrating St. Cloud. See you all Thursday at the X!! GO HUSKIES!

Did Bob tell the team they couldn't celebrate with Cup until the series was over? That is a very smart decision. Why distract your players? Make them earn that ceremony with their fans.

Here's to hoping the Seawolves can put together a good game and push it to a Sunday game. Play with some pride and give the 3,000 concrete center fans something to think about guys.

Thing I'm most looking forward to? Ending UAA's season tonight so I'll never have to read your drivel ever again.

Cos the world is forcing you to read what I write. Eff off you miserable trolling worm.

Re: UAA @ SCSU: Well Look What We Have Here....

How do I troll in my own thread, mouthbreather?

Here's how dummy. I make one post wishing my team the best and hoping they play with some pride. You could have let it stand as is without commenting. But you chose instead to troll me. It's something that will be obvious to anyone else.

You mean the post where you called our rink the "Concrete Center?" Box.

Re: UAA @ SCSU: Well Look What We Have Here....

So since I used one of the most commonly used nicknames for your rink in my post then you aren't a trolling little worm.

Actually yes. Glad you pieced that one together without me having to draw you a picture.

Re: UAA @ SCSU: Well Look What We Have Here....

Doesn't mean anything of course, but I expected SCSU to handle UAA easily both games and I really think this is a FF looking team. Nice to see despite the rivalry.

Re: UAA @ SCSU: Well Look What We Have Here....

Thank goodness this horrid season is OVER. Now the University can get started on FINDING A NEW COACH for next season!!

Re: UAA @ SCSU: Well Look What We Have Here....

Took my family to the game tonight. We stood in a long line and waited close to an hour until we could pose with the MacNaughton Cup. My wife actually suggested that it might make our Christmas card late this year!

Loved watching WCHA commissioner Bruce McLeod and SCSU officials present the Cup to the ENTIRE St. Cloud team. Many photographers and camera operators taking many photographs and video for history-making moments for this program.

Best moment came late in Cup ceremony. After a brief lull, Motzko went out to center ice and lifted the Cup high to a huge rousing cheer from the fans. Couldn't help think that he had always wanted to do that during the years he played for St. Cloud years ago.

It's a great year to be a Husckey.

Re: UAA @ SCSU: Well Look What We Have Here....

Congrats to SCS for the comprehensive sweep of the Woofies and the MacNaughton Cup. This long time Seawolf fan will be cheering you on next week in the FF. Would love to see you guys win the Broadmoor Trophy, too, and make a good run in the NCAAs. A fresh alternative...

Most fan bases have their share of jerks, for sure. True fans know that these random jerks are only that and don’t represent the majority of the fan base. It would be great if all the discussion on these threads would be constructive and non-insulting. Unfortunately, it seems that the share of jerkiness allotted to our fan base was not evenly distributed…

After 25+ years of holding season tickets and attending dang near every UAA home game, I am done. I can no longer support this program until BOTH the coach and AD are replaced. As a UAA graduate degree alumnus, I have provided modest financial support to the school for many years. That, too, is ended until things change. Spending millions on a new, on-campus arena without ice is asinine. The administration will receive a letter with my (not) season ticket renewal stating the reasons. Things need to change dramatically. It is painful to see what this once-proud and competitive hockey program has become under the current athletic administration.

Great to hear.
