Part of me wants to give it a shot because it looks decent, but I probably won't because of the stupid way FX handles their OnDemand content. They don't put them up until eight days after, so if you miss a week, you're always one step behind. There's very few shows that I make appointment viewing these days, and a new show that looks like it could maybe be okay isn't going to be one.

OK, I think Wedding Band officially just became pretty good: the bad fake new Def Leppard song they came up with is beyond perfect.

What? Oh man... I mean, how many viewers did they THINK they were going to get at 10pm on Saturday?

Well, if you ever find yourself wondering "what would it sound like if a bad Def Leppard tribute band tried to write their own new Def Leppard songs," you really should seek out that clip.

The sad part is TBS has actually brought a couple funny shows on but not given them a chance to succeed. I liked Glory Daze too and that didn't hack it either.

How can it be worse than an actual Def Leppard song?

Also, did they make the drummer hack his arm off?

The drummer did have only one arm in a sleeve. A band member slapped at the empty left sleeve, talked about being totally committed. :D

The Following has been excellent, so far, in my opinion. It is better than I expected. I do fear that it is a show that they won't be able to keep going for too long without it getting more and more unbelievable, but we'll see.

The Americans pilot was pretty good, not great. It is good enough to keep me interested for more episodes, and the previews for upcoming episodes look like it should be entertaining.

And in the file of trainwreck that you can't take your eyes off of: My Big Fat American Gypsy Wedding. Girlfriend found this a few weeks ago, and you haven't seen ****ed up until you see these people. Its like Honey Boo-Boo meets Jersey Shore, and it is terrible.

Me too. Finally watched The Americans yesterday. Liked it a lot. Though I was thrown a bit when they were in 1960 because Keri Russell looked the exact same as she did in 1981. Loved Phillip going back to the guy from the department store that made the rude comment about his daughter and beating him up while he was grilling.

I also thought it was a somewhat unlreastic timeline to have them go from KGB training to 20+ years later looking pretty much the same but it's a minor concern. I liked that in a reversal of roles the man is having doubts about staying on the Russian dole and the woman is the strong one demanding that they stay the course.

To me it looked like she had more wrinkles in the eyes, but that could be nitpicking a bit. Either way, man, she's still got it.

I don't like the fact that they shoved a couple major issues over and over in the first ep (the man's doubts). It's like they are planning for a short run.....just in case. I'd rather have the gradual build up to that. However, the opening and closing scenes (and GREAT song selection for those scenes) really impressed me.

Well any story line with Ted usually sucks ;)

Dave Coulier was funny (as was Geddy Lee and Jason Priestley) but Luc Robitaille talking about how he used to listen to Sandcastles in the Sand before games so he could have a good cry had me rolling :)

Loving The Americans so far. Glad they slowed down some underlying plot lines. While not as good as BB or SOA.....I think they need to dial back a bit on the sex intros and such to sell the show.....am enjoying the cat-and-mouse with Craig Patrick. ;)
