Know I mentioned this before but this season of Friday Night Lights was great, I have to say best show on TV.

I get the UND alumni magazine today and my suitemate from freshman year is on the cover. He's marrying Gigi Edgley, the chick from Babylon 5. He rides a freaking unicycle. That's what he does for a living and he's marrying this chick.

Doesn't say much for UND's engineering program. :p
Those of us that get engineering degrees from other schools seem to be able to get jobs, you know, engineering stuff.

He had a job and quit. He said it was because he didn't like working behind a desk, but I think the real reason is that he decided to go the Biddy route and be a leach off his woman.

William Shatner is frustrated by the furor surrounding the risque title of his new sitcom $#*! My Dad Says, because he's always used the expletive around his kids.

Members of the Parents Television Council (PTC) have urged more than 340 companies to boycott the show by refusing to advertise during its broadcast, arguing that the title is indecent.

But the Star Trek legend, who plays the cantankerous father of the title, can't understand the fuss over bad language and admits he frequently uses the curse word.

He tells the Associated Press, "Do you know what I wish? I wish they would call it s**t. I've got grandchildren. I brought up three girls. They've all got kids. OK? And you say, 'Boopy-doo-doo, you've got to make poo-poo. Come on. Make poo-poo in the toilet.'

"Eventually, poo-poo becomes s**t. 'Go take a s**t, you'll feel better.' You say that to your kids. The word s**t is around us. It isn't a terrible term. It's a natural function. Why are we pussyfooting?"

The series, based on a real-life Twitter.com page, is due to air next month.

Watching some old DW on my Netflix and I just realized how cheestastic the special effects are! :D Still wishing I could find a hat like Tom Baker's.

did you watch the season finale yet? some interesting events, but I don't think we have the answer to who A really is and who killed Allison... even though it seems like we do.

Finished watching the 1st season of Boomtown, not a bad show don't understand why they didn't release the second season with it since it only had 6 episodes. debating what to start next wanted to go the 3rd Watch but since they have only released the first two season don't know if I want to get interested in it and then have to wait for future seasons too be released.

has anybody watched Pillars of the Earth? Have taped the first 4 episodes but am kind of waiting until they are done before I start to watch it. .

I agree. Though I do have a question. It said that this episode was the summer finale? Does that mean that this is going to be a strictly summer show or that we'll see a second season in the Fall or Spring? I have my DVR set to record all new episodes, so if it starts up before I realize it, I won't miss anything. I'm just curious.

Started watching Psych since tcbg really likes it. Pretty funny show.

Psych is awesome...watch it from the beginning it just gets better than better :D

Just finished the 4th season of Psych last night. Absolutely fantastic. The Shawn-Juliet flirting in Seasons 2-3 became a lot funnier when I learned that James Roday and Maggie Lawson have been dating for the entire duration of the show.

If you have a chance go on Youtube and watch their comic-con stuff the last few years, the cast is hilarious :)

This last weeks episode was ridiculously awesome!

I'm not sold on Henry being back on thepolice force, and deciding when and whether Shawn and Gus get brought in. Just seems kinda forced and awkward to me, and they're creating tension where it's not needed, and seems more of a plot device rather than realistic actions.
