TV 20 - Sorry no fancy title

I liked 2 (that I can remember) 3 was the worst in my opinion. Thing is though, I dont remember much and neither does the SO. It feels so different.

Season 4 dipped in the middle and it kind of cuts off in a weird place. I feel like another episode would have been better.
3 was bad, that pretentious first episode was embarrassing

I liked that episode...but it pushed the line HARD. I will skip it if I ever do a rewatch I bet or at least fast forward.

I will say the finale of 4 was a Top 5/6 episode. The only ones that might beat it are the Christmas Episode, the Wedding Episode from this season and a couple from Season 1 towards the end. Heck I would say from the wedding on Season 4 was on fire.

The question becomes, what is Season 5 and is it the last one? My guess:

it goes one of two ways. either Carmy is gone at the beginning and comes back because he realized being away he really does love restaurants and he misses his family and his connection to Mikey. Other option is its "I will stay until we are in the black and everything is set for greatness. They get the star and the show ends with him and Claire together and he works beneath Chef Sydney. I dont see anyway he just walks away.

I could have sworn I read that season 5 is it.

I don’t usually agree with Rolling Stone, but I loved their recent top 100 tv episodes of all time. And there’s a reason why the only Bear episode to make it (at like 80 something I think) was Forks. Which is my favorite too, but yeah, season 3 episode 1 is just not a masterclass for me. Ozymandias, International Assassin, The Magic of David Copperfield , twin peaks pilot, last exit to Springfield are bangers and not even in same league

As for Emmy’s- severance deserves to rule. White lotus having sam Rockwell up for supporting actor and not guest?? And ignoring his partner, while everyone else is nominated?? Yeesh. And I loved what little we saw of Sam.
Parker posey deserves the nom, tho. Everyone could use a little lorazepam. And I can’t argue with a Carrie coon nod.

Hoping slow horses wins some!

And, new Apple show coming starring Jack lowden on the Berlin Noir books- pumped for that

Yeah, I started the new season one night and couldn't do it. Watching the Bosch spinoff Ballard right now and it's awesome. I need to finish Bosch yet, and then Bosch legacy. Was taking a break from it.

Nice I loved both those series!

Too bad Lincoln Lawyer is on Netflix because the story the next season is doing has Bosch in it. (They are half brothers)
