TV 20 - Sorry no fancy title

Sunny with Rashida Jones. Per the web:

I've watched 2 eps so far. I don't want to compare it to Severance because it would be somewhat unfair, but there are some similarities and I wonder if any of the creators have ties. Very enjoyable so far.

It’s been compared to black mirror too

im Through all five episodes that have been released. This last one was the weakest so far, but the episodes that reviewers seemed to think were standouts are yet to air.

i love it. It screams A24, and like all their material, it’s not for everyone

I agree that 5 wasn't great, but overall I'm very happy with it.

Finished Season 6 Part I of Cobra Kai and I have 2 complaints:

1. At times it felt like a prime time major network sitcom and not in a good way. I mean the show as never been high-art, but it was better than network TV for the most part.

2. The never-ending, "We're enemies now we're friends now we're enemies" back and forth between multiple characters as well as the, "I'm with Miyagi-Do now I'm with Cobra Kai now I'm back to Miyagi-Do" by more than a few characters feels played out.

That said it's still a good enough show (perhaps more so if you're my age. Neither of my kids have watched a single episode) that I will finish to see if they stick the landing with S6 Part II.

The geek out moments make up for some of the shock so I still love it but I feel the season is too long and they are low on ideas.

Finished season 3 of Hacks. Really liked it. Especially the last scenes of the final episode. Now onto season 3 of The Bear.

Gods of Tennis on PBS. I'd seen the ads, and couldn't wait to see this. Of course I miss the first 2 episodes. Always a fan of Martina I damn sure didn't miss tonights "Martina Navratilova and Chris Evert" episode. Tennis fan or not you should check it out.

Joe Rogan's new special on Netflix. Well at least he still has his podcast. I don't know why I expected more, because the only funny moments that have ever happened on this podcast came from his guests. He is thoroughly unfunny and I turned it off after about 5 minutes. Just horrible.

Sounds like when Alex Jones was a stand up. Not gross; just sad.

Wow. That's... how did this dude even make it to the stage? Like, I tried to find something, ANYTHING funny and it's just a white dude yelling.

Reacher.

Never read the books. Didn't know anything about it really. Watched the two movies over the weekend with Mr. Cruise. They were both ok. Typical action popcorn flicks. The First season of the TV show I thought was really good for a while, then the ending was just kind of flat and typical for me with one of the lamest human interactions I have ever seen.

On to season two.

Gonna give Bad Monkey with Vince Vaughn a shot.

Episode 1 was good enough for me to give 2 a chance. The narrator is a poor-man's Waylon Jennings but he'll suffice.
