Brain damage is hard to distinguish from MAGA. Some jack-ss is going to write a paper about this and become famous aren’t they?

The Flight Attendant has been a very pleasant surprise.

And I've enjoyed The Mess You Leave Behind (Spanish on Netflix) quite a bit. It's a mixture of Broadchurch and Dark and I'm looking forward to viewing the final episodes.

Flight attendant is decent, I love michiel huismann.

You know how Nazis are the villain in a thousand movies 1945-2000? That's Republicans from 2045-2100.

Has anyone else watched the limited series on Netflix called Room 2806?

This is the story of the sexual assault by Dominque Strauss-Kahn at a hotel in NYC while Kahn was head of the IMF.

It was an excellent series, and I highly recommend that people watch it. But I will warn you. There are three or four talking heads in that series that will create in you the overwhelming urge to reach through your tv screen, grab them by the throat, and throttle them. Seriously.

I just got the best idea for a series and I guarantee Netflix would greenlight it.

The ghosts of Tupac and Biggie team up to solve crimes.

Well, THE MANDALORIAN just collapsed under it's own weight for the S2 finale.

I guess it was inevitable since any of these shows being done are ultimately retcons to the larger narrative set in motion 40+ years ago... But still... Very disappointing to see.

I disagree. The connection was simple, and had no real impact on anything that's been published so far. It was just a fun connection. The Ahsoka drop in had far more impact on the franchise and its plans than the finale's appearance will.

This is the first negative review I've read so far (I have not watched yet) and I don't mean from any of the fanboy sites which I do not visit.

Trying to keep this spoiler free:

Doesn't ______ showing up kinda paint things into a corner for the fan favorite character though? We know the result that is coming down the road. That's kinda what I'm getting at. Future outcomes can be directly implied here. They do not end well. The writing gymnastics required to avoid this will not look smooth.

Compare that to the end credits scene: Sure that sets up a distinct scenario. But it's not boxed in by events portrayed in Ep 7-9. So things can still be molded and characters are allowed to fully develop.

Aren’t they removing 7-9 from canon? Heard that somewhere but am struggling to find it now. That might impact decision making.

Edit: Only a rumor. NVM.

You mean like how the events of Rogue One were boxed in by the events of Episode 4? Just because a character's fate is known doesn't negate whether the current story told is good. Let the story happen and enjoy the ride. Aside from that, you don't have any inkling of that character's fate until the end and the appearance of another, so what does that matter?

Besides that, you're siding with Kepler about a TV show episode, so you know you're wrong.

ETA: And I bet they use the closing credits scene of the announced show to then setup the start/catalyst of the Kenobi series that was announced last week, too.

To be fair, Raceboarder is not siding with me. He sees that Tragedy sucked, but he has different reasons than I.

So you are both probably wrong. He just appears right due to a fanboy irrelevancy about canon.

I don't agree with Race's reasons for being critical at all and St.C summed it up.

I also enjoyed it and my son (an actual fanboy) had no issues with it.
