Has there been any real world precedent of a place having ZERO Covid precautions, someone getting sick, then being tried? That seems right up the alley of Original Recipie LAW & ORDER...

Have a restaurant/club owner basically advertise their venue as a speakeasy and then have the DA come down on them like a rock. Political/Legal debate ensues. That would check all the boxes.

MN had some bars like that, but I don’t know if any deaths or hospitalizations were linked to those. This was during the first shutdown, back when MN was still doing mostly okay.

Several of those bars have been sued for tens of thousands in fines. Successfully.

There was that infamous Dumpy bar in Staten Island ("Mac's Public House") and I think they were gonna get sued, but don't know what happened.

Started watching Arcane last night. I know next to nothing about League of Legends, but that first episode was pretty damn good even still. I see why it's highly rated. The animation was top notch without falling into the uncanny valley.

Stath Lets Flats. 2 episodes in and I like it. Definitely influenced by Fawlty Towers. A lot of what's fun is the strangeness of the Brit tropes, and the deeply disturbing lead character (and show writer). He had a minor part in The Great. His sister, a lead in What We Do in the Shadows, plays... his sister.

I think one of the guys got in trouble as did his buddy who owned a gym. I may be mixing them up though...

They're rebooting Fresh Prince and I'm not sure how to feel about that. Fresh Prince without Phil is like Frasier without Martin. Not sure how it works.

Just about to start Maid at the recommendation of my mom.

Watched S1 of Undercover (Netflix series from Belgium/Netherlands) and there's too many stupid characters for me to give S2 or 3 a try. Too bad because the actors are great and there's a decent plot/story but I don't care about any of them because they're all fucking idiots.

S1 of Castle Rock was very good - holding off on S2 for now.

Then I think I will try Fauda next which has had 3 seasons so far, and every once in a while sneak in an episode of Modern Family.

Have you seen the trailer? James Avery being gone isn’t exactly the only thing that’s different. It’s not going to be anything like the original. It’s a single camera TV-MA rated drama.

Does that mean full frontal Carlton?

I had quit the original Dexter series after season 5. After season 5 I felt like they had ruined any fascination I could have with the series. Well, I watched the "reboot" season and they pretty much put everything in there that I hated about the first series. So, I'm done. Not glad I watched it. If they decide on Season Two? Forget it.

Ended up semi-binge watching Arcane on Netflix. I see why it made the lists of best anime of the year. It was damn good. And you absolutely don't need to know anything about League to enjoy it.

Sucks season 2 is at least a year away.

Just started Star Trek Discovery

incredible visuals. So far I like the characters ans story.

It gets kind of weird but I friggin love it! My buddy the Trekkie thinks it is awesome as well.

Hey Scarlet you watched Leverage didn't you? Did you watch the reboot? If so what did you think personally I enjoyed it quite a bit and can't wait for Season 2.
