Oh. I had no idea.
I always think Letterkenny is Manitoba.
It certainly could be, but Jared Keeso (Wayne) has said he bases a lot of it from his time growing up in Listowel, Ontario.
I think they mention Ontario, I knew it was there. But when I hear Ontario I think of cake eater suburbs of Toronto or some sh-t hole heavy industry like Hamilton. The braindead Iowa farm fucks I think of as Manitoba and Saskatchewan.
Go due north of MN, and. Two-thirds of our northern border is Ontario. It’s a big place.
It really makes me mad that two years ago Xfinity placed TCM in the "Sports and Entertainment" package that I don't want to sign up for.
And last month Xfinity made Cartoon Network a premium channel which is some bull****.
Wait, what?
*goes to check my cable package*
Well, it's still available on mine. But, I also get NHLNet, MLBNet, ESPNU, and ESPNNews without their stupid "Sports and Entertainment" package, so \_(ツ)_/ .
TCM is airing Chapter 1 of the 1943 The Batman serial "The Electric Brain" tomorrow morning at 9:30 EDT. There's 15 chapters and I hope the show them all.
My wife and I have been watching The Nevers on HBO. I was a bit skeptical at the outset (we actually streamed the first couple of episodes when we finally decided to give it a try). We've really enjoyed it.
We've also watched the first two episodes of Mare of Easttown on HBO. It's been good so far, but I fear it might try to become too clever for its own good. We'll see.
Mare of east town is really good
Jack Ryan was pretty good. If you're into the superhero genre my daughter is raving about "The Boys". I'm gonna check out "Pink: All I Know So Far" that starts today.Anything new or fun or interesting I should catch on Amazon Prime? I've caught up Scrubs, House, have a bit more Mrs. Maisel to go, and I adored Fleabag. Thought about Netflix, but I am running a bit cheap right now.
