That part wasn't in the script. The scene is supposed to end when Kendall chokes Roman. The director let the scene play out cause he felt there was more in the tank.

Siren: Survive the Island. (Netflix, Korean)

Twenty-four female police officers, firefighters, bodyguards, soldiers, athletes, and stunt women team up by profession to compete for survival on a remote island.

Yes Please.

Nude and to the death or pass.

But I think you may have killed mookie.

What wasn't in the script? Roman taunting Kendall about his kids? Kendall reopening Roman's stitches?

The scene ends with Kendall choking Roman after Roman insults Kendalls kids. Everything after that was off the cuff including the boardroom.

That's difficult to believe.

I mean it came from the director and showrunner but it's possible I misread it. The rest didn't matter the deal is dead and the siblings are back to square one in their relationship. What came next doesn't even really fit.

I'm fine with it, and obviously I believe you, I'm just surprised they would mess with what is a carefully crafted and balanced scene / episode / show. As a rule, writers think of actors the way we think of clothes. They're very important in making an impression, they do a job, they're what everybody remembers... but we don't let them make decisions because... they're fabric.

Halfway through Ep 1 and one of the girls just said during a scene where they have very limited resources to choose from that she'll have to go commando. I'm in.

FUBAR. I haven't checked if there might be a season two. The show seemed to indicate there won't. It was fun, but I don't think I need anymore.

The end of Ted Lasso was wonderful. I teared up a few times. Going to miss that show.

Onto the final season of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel!

End of Ted Lasso was what is should have been. I won't remember anything in it, really, but that's okay, it was an homage to the whole show.

The very end song, however -- that was chef's kiss.

I did like:
  • We have no idea who Keeley is with, if either, neither, or both
  • We have no idea whether Ted and his wife are back together
  • Sam on the national team
It's not about wins and losses. (I wish they had left whether they won it all ambiguous, too.)
