TV 19 - Simpsons Did It

I saw a preview for this and it looked like there was just so much going on. I was intrigued but at the same time not sure if it would be worth my time. I'll be curious to see what people think of it and decide if I should come back and binge later.

Based on the pilot I think it is worth trying. It's definitely trying too hard to be clever, but that's far preferable to the smooth brainery of 90% of TV and 99% of movies.

I liked it. One of the fastest 10 episodes I ever went through.

It was so preposterous that he 1)Would ever be a suspect in the train bombing to begin with but also 2) He was obviously cleared hence not being in prison yet everyone treated him like he was in fact the bomber. Also how the eff did the "uncle and aunt" know they were being targeted, had several minutes to prepare and yet didn't do a damn thing to protect themselves? I had a hard time forgiving either and I'm forgetting one other smdh moment.

I have the ability to suspend belief in unimaginable ways so it didn't bother me.

I do too in many cases, but those really bothered me because they were right off the bat and soured me that stuff like that would continue. More power to you for sticking through it.

I felt Perry Mason season two is about as good as it gets for TV. Wonderful show. I binged the last 2/3s of it Sunday.

HBOMax right? Did they release it all at once? I am currently going through Last of Us so Perry Mason might have to be next, especially if they released it all at once. I am waiting for Succession to wrap up so I can binge that too.

It's all on Max now. They season is over on "live" HBO.

NO SPOILERS PLEASE!!!

I have watched the first 2 episodes and am savoring it.

This is the golden age of television and the dark age of movies.

2 episodes into Mrs. Davis and as the characters develop I am liking it more. The winkyness is still there for the Criminally Ironic, but I appreciate anybody who tries to do something different.

Sounds like I will put Mrs Davis on my list of things as well. Will finish up Last of Us soon and then probably go Perry Mason after. I'll wait for Succession to finish up and do my best to avoid spoilers (fingers crossed). I need to catch up on Barry (I think I am a season behind) but will probably wait until after this current, final is complete to do that. So I'll have to find some stuff additional stuff in the meantime. Maybe House of Dragons? I finished up Mandalorian season 3 just before I started Last of Us.

S: The Last of Us, Perry Mason

A: Succession. If you have not yet, The Bear and Severance.

B: Barry this season, Mrs. Davis so far.

C: Ted Lasso has been meh this year but I trust it to get better. I'm watching The Diplomat which is phenomenally stupid but I love it; don't you judge me!

D: You might try The Big Door Prize. I gave up on it but it had potential. I guess it's a dumbed-down version of a much better book.

F: My wife loved Yellowjackets, I hated it. It may be a boy/girl thing.
