It would be really nice to end this winless streak...longest since 2006. I wonder what UMTC's longest unbeaten streak is...4 or 5 I bet.

Good question. I know the 1939-40 team went undefeated, but that was pre NCAA. Biggest streaks during NCAA Era are as follows:

Longest Winning Streak: 15 games during 2006-07 season
Longest Losing Streak: 12 games during 1953-54 season

Not sure if that's what you're looking for.

The No. 2 Minnesota men's hockey program returns to action this weekend with a two-game Western Collegiate Hockey Association series against Minnesota Duluth at Mariucci Arena. The Gophers (20-6-4 overall, 12-6-4 WCHA) open the weekend on Friday at 7 p.m. with FOX Sports North PLUS and 1500 ESPN calling the action. Saturday's series finale is also set for 7 p.m. against the Bulldogs (10-16-4, 8-12-4) with the Big Ten Network and 1500 ESPN broadcasting the game.

Clearly Scooby is asleep at the wheel. His glass is still at 99.9%. Get on that, Scoobs.

Minnesota wins by a touchdown both nights. Bjugstad catches 3 TD passes, and Condon has two pick-sixes.

I don't think you will want to play football with the Bulldogs. Given the Gophers recent track record, UMD would likely win....
